RollDock is a Dutch heavy lift shipping company that transports large and heavy cargo around the world. It was founded in 2005 and takes a creative and flexible approach to meet client needs. RollDock owns specialized ships that can load cargo in multiple ways, including roll-on/roll-off, lift-on/lift-off, and float-on/float-out. 3. After years of hands-on management of a large international organisation that successfully executed complex and
challenging projects, such as the salvage of the Kursk (the sunken Russian nuclear submarine), I stepped out of business
for a two year break in 2005. Returning from my cross-Europe hiking trip, I had the opportunity to invest in RollDock, a
new ambitious player in the field of ocean transportation of heavy and voluminous cargoes.
RollDock has developed well and sister company Roll-Lift was founded in 2011, providing heavy-lift transport and
installation services around the globe.With this combination of heavy lift services, on land and sea, I am achieving an
old ambition. My main driver is working with enthusiastic, young entrepreneurs, which is familiar territory to me.
By bringing together experienced people such as Wout van der Zwan as well as others from the heavy lift industry and
by combining their expertise with my own experience, we will realize our ambition.
Our company distinguishes itself by its flexible, intelligent and creative approach; one whereby the needs of the client
will always come first, in balance with the interests of the community with regard to health, safety and environment.

With a service speed of 18 knots (fully loaded) and a draft of
5.67 m (summer) our vessels offer quick transit times and
direct access to small ports and shallow drafted sites. Bow-
thrusters and twin engines, propellers and rudders ensure safe
and reliable performance.
