Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2018 – Congress authorized $7.5M to update the National Broadband Availability Map in coordination with the FCC and previous partnerships developed by the States.
NTIA can acquire, utilize and display available third-party data sets to the extent such data can be used to augment existing data from the FCC, other Federal government agencies, State government, and the private sector.
NTIA continues to hold discussions with other Federal agencies, States, and Industry to inform program implementation.
NTIA is developing requirements for tools and procedures for the geographic visualization and comparison of federal and non-federal data sets via Esri’s Managed Cloud Services. Key objectives include:
Help identify regions with insufficient service, especially in rural areas.
Compare multiple data-sets to identify discrepancies in broadband availability (e.g. served vs. underserved or unserved)
Produce reports and analyses that could be used for investment and decision-making purposes.
NTIA has a paperwork reduction act process public and in its last stages for approval from OMB to collect data from third parties (e.g., ISPs)
NTIA has agreements with 8 states (check to confirm all eight 7/8 now) and is beginning to collect data from states
8 states are CA, UT, MN, TN, NC, WV, ME, MA are all active SBLN members, represent regional diversity and have active grants and/or state mapping initiatives.
