Chachapoyas
For its cloud forests, areas exuberant flora; orchids and bromeliads and
unique fauna bear Kuelap built by the Chachapoyas, a brave people who
for years resisted colonization inca. Located on the top of rocky hills and
guarded by a gigantic defensive wall, Kuelap houses in its interior circular
compartments with decorative friezes
We can visit the Lake of the Condors, of the Mummies, the Chinata Falls
and the Sarcophagi of Karajia, surprising clay tombs two-meter high
nestled in a rocky mountain.
