This document describes the Niagara Green City Program, a utility conservation program that partners with Green Plumbers to retrofit homes and businesses with water and energy efficient products at no upfront cost. The program provides ultra high efficiency toilets, showerheads, and aerators to customers, who pay a small monthly fee for the equipment and installation through their utility bill. This turnkey program is designed to achieve water and energy savings for customers and the city while requiring no financial resources or staffing from the city itself.

GREEN CITY IS SMART TECHNOLOGY
• Maximum water and energy savings for residential and
multi-family customers via the ultra-high-efficiency Stealth
System:
– Stealth toilet (0.8 GPF)
– Adjustable flow chrome showerhead (1.5/1.0 GPM)
– Adjustable and fixed bathroom aerators (1.0 GPM)
– Adjustable kitchen aerator with a pause valve (1.5
GPM)
– All Product has a 10 year warranty
– All installation has a 1 year warranty

• Typical $8-10 savings on monthly utility bills per unit vs. $5
monthly payment on water bill depending upon the
repayment term, water, sewer and energy savings.

7. Set-Up
• The City and Niagara agree to program goals, costs and terms
• Re-payment terms are established for the City’s customers based upon the
amount of supplemental funding the city may or may not provide

• Certified installation partners are selected and trained
• The City or Utility in conjunction with Niagara will launch a multi-tiered
marketing campaign
On-Going
• Customers sign up, installations are made and certified
• Customer info loaded into Niagara Track system for billing
• The City’s customers who participate pays a small monthly charge either
on their water bill or via Niagara Smart Pay
