Introduction
It is rather strange to read at International Women’s Day the first report of a buttock
implant leading to fatal lymphoma, a complication that we know until now only of breast
implants [1,2] Buttock enhancement is mostly performed with autologous fat injection rather
than with silicone implants. However, these Brazilian butt lift procedures are the deadliest
in aesthetic surgery. One in every 3000 patients dies of a fat embolism. Injecting fat into the
buttocks can easily lead to serious problems if done incorrectly [3]. Most of the 33 deaths
have been attributed to unqualified doctors, but underreporting is very likely. Besides fatal
fat embolism, sepsis and gangrene can also be fatal [3]. For those who have ever watched the
TV series “Botched” may be surprised on the vast number of doctors that perform these types
of surgeries who seem to have very questionable qualifications. In a celebrity and beauty
obsessed society this practice continues. Hopefully, brain enhancement is winning from
buttock enhancement.
Conclusion
It is obvious that the risks outweigh the benefits of buttock enhancement.

This poster summarizes results presented at the 2010 American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation meeting comparing outcomes of two stem cell transplantation trials for acute myeloid leukemia patients. The trials utilized either T-cell depleted grafts (TCD) after CD34+ selection or unmodified grafts. While disease-free survival, overall survival, and transplant-related mortality were similar between the groups, the TCD group had significantly lower rates of acute graft-versus-host disease (20% vs 38%) and chronic GVHD (19% vs 47%) without increased relapse risk. The results support T-cell depletion in matched transplantation and suggest its extension to matched unrelated transplantation.

cause of mortality among women population. For the previous two decades, studies related to the breast cancer
has guided to astonishing advancement in our understanding of the breast cancer, resulting in further proficient
treatments. Amongst all the malignant diseases, breast cancer is considered as one of the leading cause of death in
post menopausal women accounting for 23% of all cancer deaths. It is a global issue now, but still it is diagnosed in
their advanced stages due to the negligence of women regarding the self inspection and clinical examination of the
breast. This review addresses anatomy of the breast, risk factors, epidemiology of breast cancer, pathogenesis of breast
cancer, stages of breast cancer, diagnostic investigations and treatment including chemotherapy, surgery, targeted
therapies, hormone replacement therapy, radiation therapy, complementary therapies, gene therapy and stem-cell
therapy etc for breast cancer.

Optimising Adult Vaccination in Europe
Vaccination rates among adults in Europe are lower than recommended levels despite evidence that vaccines prevent deadly diseases in older populations. To improve rates by 2020, efforts should focus on increasing vaccination among healthcare workers, empowering consumers with independent information on immunization, and promoting immunization as part of a cultural norm of healthy aging. Behavioral economics approaches could also help convince more adults to receive recommended vaccines.

She presented with chronic pelvic pain and was found to have a large cystic mass in her left ovary. Brazilian Butt Lifts: An Editorial Michael Naafs AB* Dutch internist endocrinologist, Netherland Introduction It is rather strange to read at International Women’s Day the first report of a buttock implant leading to fatal lymphoma, a complication that we know until now only of breast implants [1,2] Buttock enhancement is mostly performed with autologous fat injection rather than with silicone implants. However, these Brazilian butt lift procedures are the deadliest in aesthetic surgery. One in every 3000 patients dies of a fat embolism. Injecting fat into the buttocks can easily lead to serious problems if done incorrectly [3]. Most of the 33 deaths have been attributed to unqualified doctors, but underreporting is very likely. Besides fatal fat embolism, sepsis and gangrene can also be fatal [3]. For those who have ever watched the TV series “Botched” may be surprised on the vast number of doctors that perform these types of surgeries who seem to have very questionable qualifications. In a celebrity and beauty obsessed society this practice continues. Hopefully, brain enhancement is winning from buttock enhancement. Conclusion It is obvious that the risks outweigh the benefits of buttock enhancement. References 1.
