2. ACEBOOK
Dont like it.
Use it a lot.
Not an avid status-updater.
Share the occasional thought, song or opinion.
Use it mainly to keep in touch with friends and
stay up to date.
Spend most of my time on the news feed. Look at news from websites and groups that interest me.
Keep an eye on birthdays. Wishing someone a happy birthday is a good way to stay marginally
connected to an old friend
3. LINKED
Potentially useful site.
Dont use it a lot.
Keep my work/education experience updated.
Dont post ”skills” – endorsements bother me.
Use it mainly to connect with colleagues or keep an eye on job opportunities
Also, keep an eye on employment of friends – A potential connection to a company in the future
LinkedIn´s recommendation tool very inferior to Facebook´s. Doesn´t keep me coming back.
...... What?
4. TWITTER
I like the concept.
Im too shy/reserved/private to make full use of it.
I dislike #´s and @´s.
Yet, its the best site to stay up to date.
Hear of events/sales/competitions about things I choose
Feel more connected to those people I admire.
Amount of tweets can be overwhelming.
Follow only a few people. Mainly musicians or comedians I am a fan of.
5. INSTAGRAM
Nice and casual
No desire to gain thousands of followers
Good social media for instigating some Wanderlust.
I enjoy sharing cool sights I come across, or meals I spend a lot of time cooking
”food porn” – Instagram makes me hungry and gives me new ideas for things to cook.
Still not an avid poster.
Not big on selfies.
6. RECAP
My brand?
Easy-going. Try not to care too much about any of my profiles.
Use social media sparingly – especially the social aspect
I prefer to socialize in person, rather than put myself ”out there” online, where everyone can see what
I´ve done/liked/thought.....for all eternity
I enjoy keeping tabs on my favorite muscians and brands. I like being able to keep in touch with my
closest friends and what´s going on in their lives. Show interest in them.
