History of BowlingThe first trace of bowling was in 3200 BC, making it almost 5000 years old. It didn't become popular until 1366 in England. It was brought over to America in 1486 where it became well known in the US. The first bowling game on TV was in 1950. The first bowling alley opened in New York and was called "Bowling Pins."
