Bowling is a game that originated in England in the early 1900s. It involves rolling a heavy ball down a wooden lane to knock down 15 wooden pins arranged in a triangle formation at the end. Players take turns rolling balls down the lane to try and knock down all the pins on each roll. Points are scored based on the number of pins knocked down and the game is over once all frames have been completed.
