ORGANIZATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Company: GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Singapore (Jun 14 – Present)
Role: 1) Procurement Specialist – Fab Materials
Key Responsibilities:
 Sourcing lead for Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) and Sputtering Targets (thin film deposition
metals) in regional level.
 Adhering to allocated budgets and standard organizational purchasing protocol.
 Partner with key business stakeholders for tracking and reviewing vendor’s KPI deliverables for supplier
performance rating.
 Exploring global markets for new suppliers, reviewing suppliers profile, evaluating suppliers based on their
TQCFS capability and selecting suppliers upon successful evaluation of their products.
 Conducting Executive Business Review (EBR) half yearly for top spend suppliers along with senior executives
of GLOBALFOUNDRIES and suppliers in alignment with global sourcing lead (GSL).
 Quarterly sale of used targets metal to scrap buyers to achieve maximum additional value savings to the
organization along with the substantial savings through yearly negotiations.
 Maintain purchase orders through transactional support and stakeholder collaboration.
 Conducted regular meetings with suppliers to follow-up on the Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP’s)
agreed during EBR’s and issued an exceptional report to Senior Management, highlighting areas which
required special attention to ripe the desired output.
 Developed and implemented a virtual global spend analysis report which consolidates the past spend data,
the spend development across fabs, by suppliers and by product category, historical price development
across products over years by suppliers which enhanced the yearly negotiations results in savings of 1.8M
US$ (4.5%) locally.
 Performed Should cost / Cleansheet Analysis for a top spend product by exploring the breakdown costs with
the essential data gathered from market research, supplier enquiry and peer interview which proved to be
more promising for strategizing the negotiation approach to attain price parity and price rationalization for
the same product, across different manufacturing facility of different tech node.
 Weekly review meeting with the fab materials sourcing team to discuss on the action items which needs
local management support to expedite the delivery and to align with them on regional level.
 Manage purchasing cycle including request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow up, goods receipt and close
follow up with finance on supplier billing.
 Half yearly ranking of key suppliers locally and aligning the scores with global sourcing leads to monitor
supplier’s performance in order to send right message/feedback to them, as it paves the way to achieve
moto of “Zero Defect Zero Occurrence” from TQCFS point of view.
Role: 2) Business Continuity Planner – Intern
Key Responsibilities:
 Drafted a questionnaire seeking the details of supplier’s Emergency Response procedure, recovery time
objective (RTO), crisis management procedure, sub-supplier’s raw material source and their vulnerability to
disaster, effective business continuity plan and other areas to ensure the supply all the time.
 Created a database of information for the critical parts obtained through the response from the suppliers for
the questionnaire.
 Categorized the whole list further into single/dual/multiples sourcing based on manufacturing location of all
the products.
 Single sourced products are short listed as those are the key items that might end up in supply issue on the
outbreak of a disaster, which will cause huge loss to the organization.
 Dealt with a 3rd party software provider "Supply Risk Solution" (SRS) who constantly monitors our single
sourced supplier and immediately alerts any abnormality around the arena and automatically looks for the
nature of impact caused at our suppliers manufacturing site.
 On the outbreak of an unexpected disaster, an E-mail notification would be automatically sent to the
designated recipient of the suppliers and their response is simultaneously shown in the system.
 Brainstormed on possible solutions for securing the supply is performed with the team and a strategy of
having an alternative manufacturing site for single sourced high critical products are proposed to the
suppliers highlighted from ABC analysis.
Company: GESTAMP SUNGWOO STAMPINGS AND ASSEMBLIES, India (Jan 13 – Mar 13)
Role: Procurement Trainee – Optimization of Lead Time and Inventory Control by Implementing Kanban System
Key Responsibilities:
 Process flow of an automotive door assembly line is studied and cluster of machines associated with each
process is documented on as is basis.
 Studied various tools and fixtures that are exchanged in the assembly line.
 Bill of Materials (BOM) for the particular door assembly line is updated with the collected data.
 Determined cycle time and takt time for every machine in the line and consolidated in the master file.
 Due to different nature of the process and cycle time for each process, bottleneck in the operation is
eliminated through line balancing (increased total number of machines for few process).
 Based on total demand from the sequential process, lead time to produce and holding capacity of the
shipping containers associated with the safety stock, a flexible Kanban board and cards are implemented.
 Applied 6S methodology across the assembly area and showed productivity improvement of 60% compared
to earlier stage and got rewarded by the top management.

Role: Procurement Intern
Key Responsibilities:
 Developed an organization wide hierarchy to categorize direct, indirect and MRO materials.
 Analyzed the past purchasing data and highlighted the need to shift from local retailers to regional
distributor to attain more leverage on price.
 Assisted procurement manager in acquiring MRO materials for the organization.
 Identified abnormalities in the procurement process and proposed a standardized process flow which is been
put into action and appreciated by the senior management.

ORGANIZATIONAL EXPERIENCE Company: GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Singapore (Jun 14 – Present) Role: 1) Procurement Specialist – Fab Materials Key Responsibilities:  Sourcing lead for Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) and Sputtering Targets (thin film deposition metals) in regional level.  Adhering to allocated budgets and standard organizational purchasing protocol.  Partner with key business stakeholders for tracking and reviewing vendor’s KPI deliverables for supplier performance rating.  Exploring global markets for new suppliers, reviewing suppliers profile, evaluating suppliers based on their TQCFS capability and selecting suppliers upon successful evaluation of their products.  Conducting Executive Business Review (EBR) half yearly for top spend suppliers along with senior executives of GLOBALFOUNDRIES and suppliers in alignment with global sourcing lead (GSL).  Quarterly sale of used targets metal to scrap buyers to achieve maximum additional value savings to the organization along with the substantial savings through yearly negotiations.  Maintain purchase orders through transactional support and stakeholder collaboration.  Conducted regular meetings with suppliers to follow-up on the Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP’s) agreed during EBR’s and issued an exceptional report to Senior Management, highlighting areas which required special attention to ripe the desired output.  Developed and implemented a virtual global spend analysis report which consolidates the past spend data, the spend development across fabs, by suppliers and by product category, historical price development across products over years by suppliers which enhanced the yearly negotiations results in savings of 1.8M US$ (4.5%) locally.  Performed Should cost / Cleansheet Analysis for a top spend product by exploring the breakdown costs with the essential data gathered from market research, supplier enquiry and peer interview which proved to be more promising for strategizing the negotiation approach to attain price parity and price rationalization for the same product, across different manufacturing facility of different tech node.  Weekly review meeting with the fab materials sourcing team to discuss on the action items which needs local management support to expedite the delivery and to align with them on regional level.  Manage purchasing cycle including request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow up, goods receipt and close follow up with finance on supplier billing.  Half yearly ranking of key suppliers locally and aligning the scores with global sourcing leads to monitor supplier’s performance in order to send right message/feedback to them, as it paves the way to achieve moto of “Zero Defect Zero Occurrence” from TQCFS point of view.

Role: 2) Business Continuity Planner – Intern Key Responsibilities:  Drafted a questionnaire seeking the details of supplier’s Emergency Response procedure, recovery time objective (RTO), crisis management procedure, sub-supplier’s raw material source and their vulnerability to disaster, effective business continuity plan and other areas to ensure the supply all the time.  Created a database of information for the critical parts obtained through the response from the suppliers for the questionnaire.  Categorized the whole list further into single/dual/multiples sourcing based on manufacturing location of all the products.  Single sourced products are short listed as those are the key items that might end up in supply issue on the outbreak of a disaster, which will cause huge loss to the organization.  Dealt with a 3rd party software provider "Supply Risk Solution" (SRS) who constantly monitors our single sourced supplier and immediately alerts any abnormality around the arena and automatically looks for the nature of impact caused at our suppliers manufacturing site.  On the outbreak of an unexpected disaster, an E-mail notification would be automatically sent to the designated recipient of the suppliers and their response is simultaneously shown in the system.  Brainstormed on possible solutions for securing the supply is performed with the team and a strategy of having an alternative manufacturing site for single sourced high critical products are proposed to the suppliers highlighted from ABC analysis. Company: GESTAMP SUNGWOO STAMPINGS AND ASSEMBLIES, India (Jan 13 – Mar 13) Role: Procurement Trainee – Optimization of Lead Time and Inventory Control by Implementing Kanban System Key Responsibilities:  Process flow of an automotive door assembly line is studied and cluster of machines associated with each process is documented on as is basis.  Studied various tools and fixtures that are exchanged in the assembly line.  Bill of Materials (BOM) for the particular door assembly line is updated with the collected data.  Determined cycle time and takt time for every machine in the line and consolidated in the master file.  Due to different nature of the process and cycle time for each process, bottleneck in the operation is eliminated through line balancing (increased total number of machines for few process).  Based on total demand from the sequential process, lead time to produce and holding capacity of the shipping containers associated with the safety stock, a flexible Kanban board and cards are implemented.  Applied 6S methodology across the assembly area and showed productivity improvement of 60% compared to earlier stage and got rewarded by the top management.
