The Georgia State University bookstore wants to start a Twitter account to more effectively communicate with students about buying books and selling books back. Having a Twitter account would allow the bookstore to reach many of the over 40,000 Georgia State students and help reduce long lines. While there may be smaller staff or inventory issues, the pros of using Twitter include making customers happier and more informed through an easy to use platform. The bookstore recommends that Georgia State allow them to use Twitter for advertising to take advantage of students' high Twitter usage.
