The document concludes by outlining offenses and penalties under the act.
The Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS) was developed in 1995 to classify drugs based on their aqueous solubility and intestinal permeability. The BCS classifies drugs into four classes based on being high or low solubility and permeability. Class I drugs are highly soluble and permeable, while Class IV drugs are poorly soluble and permeable. The BCS aims to predict drug performance using solubility and permeability measurements and to determine if in vivo bioequivalence testing is necessary based on in vitro dissolution tests.
This document outlines the proper procedures for handling prescriptions in a pharmacy. It discusses the key steps a pharmacist should follow: 1) Receiving the prescription, 2) Reading and checking for validity and accuracy, and 3) Collecting and weighing the necessary materials for compounding. The pharmacist must carefully read all information on the prescription without making assumptions and clarify any uncertainties. Proper handling of prescriptions is important to accurately fill them and avoid errors.
There are approximately 40 pharmacopoeias published worldwide according to the WHO. A pharmacopoeia is a collection of standards for drugs that is prepared by a national or regional authority. It contains information on drug sources, descriptions, tests, preparation methods, uses, doses, and storage conditions. Some major pharmacopoeias include the United States Pharmacopoeia, European Pharmacopoeia, Indian Pharmacopoeia, and Chinese Pharmacopoeia. The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission sets standards for all drugs manufactured and sold in India through the publication of the Indian Pharmacopoeia. The IP seeks to promote high quality standards for drugs used in India.

The Biopharmaceutics Classification System (BCS) classifies drug substances based on their aqueous solubility and intestinal permeability. It considers three major factors governing drug absorption from oral immediate release dosage forms: dissolution, solubility, and intestinal permeability. The BCS categorizes drugs as Class I (high solubility, high permeability), Class II (high permeability, low solubility), Class III (low permeability, high solubility) or Class IV (low solubility, low permeability). Knowing a drug's BCS classification helps determine the appropriate formulation and can reduce bioequivalence study requirements, saving time and money in development.

The scope of community pharmacy includes drug information and education, distribution, selection, and utilization. The roles and responsibilities of a community pharmacist are to properly dispense and compound medications, provide drug information to patients and physicians, ensure policies and procedures are followed, and offer consultation, counseling, and care regarding medications, side effects, allergic reactions, and more.
Generic drugs contain the same active ingredients and are equivalent to their brand name counterparts. They are allowed for sale after the original drug patent expires. Generics are usually cheaper than brands because generic manufacturers don't have the same research and development costs as brand manufacturers. The FDA requires generics to have the same clinical effects as their brand versions.
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) is India's national regulatory authority for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. It is responsible for approving new drugs, licensing manufacturing facilities, and monitoring drug quality. CDSCO's vision is to protect and promote public health in India. It has headquarters in New Delhi and offices across India. CDSCO regulates clinical trials, biosimilars, medical devices, and investigational new drugs. The Medicinal and Toilet Preparation Act was passed in 1955 to regulate the production and sale of medicinal and toilet preparations containing alcohol, narcotic drugs, or narcotics. Prior to this act, different states had varying rules for spirituous medicinal preparations, leading to inter-state smuggling. The act established uniform rules across states regarding excise duties and licensing requirements for the manufacture of such preparations. It aimed to control the availability and affordability of alcohol for medicinal and non-medicinal uses.

This document provides an overview of patient counseling. It defines patient counseling as enhancing a patient's problem-solving skills to improve or maintain health and quality of life. The objectives of patient counseling are to improve communication, patient understanding of their illness and medications, medication adherence, treatment effectiveness, and quality of life while reducing adverse effects and healthcare costs. Effective patient counseling requires strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, and addresses topics like medication use, dosing, side effects, and storage. Barriers to effective counseling can include environmental factors, semantics, attitudes, and time limitations.
Generic medicines provide an affordable alternative to expensive branded medicines. They contain the same active ingredients but are significantly cheaper because generic manufacturers do not incur research and development costs. Generic medicines allow people to cut their monthly medical expenses substantially. While branded drugs are often heavily promoted, generic drugs are equally effective and safe as they must meet the same quality standards set by regulatory bodies. Doctors sometimes preferentially prescribe branded drugs due to agreements with pharmaceutical companies, but generic drugs offer patients more choice and savings without compromising quality of care.

4. =Boeddhisme=
Nu is
punten.
1. Etnisch gedrag (sila)
- juist spreken.
- Juist handelen.
- Juist leven (de kost verdienen)
2. Geestelijke discipline (samadhi)
- juiste inspanningen.
- Juiste concentratie.
- Juiste meditatie.
6. 3. Wijsheid (prajna)
- juist begrip.
- Juiste kennis.
Karma
In
Tibetaans Boeddhisme
Men noemde zo iemand een ‘Bodhisatva’.
8. Belangrijke kenmerken van Zen:
- afkeer van alle gefilosofeer;
- het leven is het hier en nu;
- geen godsdienst, maar een levensweg;
(verlichting).
logisch verstand stuk moet breken.
Concentratie is daarbij belangrijk.
Chinese Boeddhisten
In Nederland leven 35.000 Chinese Boeddhisten.
- de familiegraven en altaren te bezoeken;
Boeddha (in mei).

Theravada-
boeddhisten nemen zijn sterfdag in 544 v. Chr. als beginjaar voor hun jaartelling. Lees meer ⇒
