• Know the function of the body
towards the sense.
• Appreciate the importance of each
body parts.

-Guess which body part the object
represents by feeling its shape or
texture.
• What is the function of the
eyes?
• How do our arms help us?
• What does our nose do?
 Head– Contains sensory organs.
 Hair– Protects against external factors
 Eyes– Sensory organ that helps to see
 Ears– Sensory organ that helps to listen
 Nose– Sensory organ that helps to smell.
 Teeth– Teeth help us to bite and chew our
food.
 Mouth– The mouth helps us speak, and this
is where we put our food
 Neck– Supports the head’s weight and
allows the head to turn
 Hands– Fine motor skills (writing,
pinching, gripping)
 Arms– Performing tasks with movement.
 Leg– Keeping the body stable; walking,
running, bending the body.
Foot– Walking; supporting body
weight; propelling the body forward.
Face– Five senses; communicating
emotions
