The Importance of Promoting Inclusion Of Persons With Disabilities for All KidsNehaNaayar
The collaborative education of children with special needs and those who are generally developing is referred to as inclusive education. It’s a concept that is frequently misinterpreted and abused; whereas many schools make the claim to be inclusive, very few actually are. But what does it mean to “promoting inclusion of persons with disabilities”?
What is inclusive education?
In inclusive education, regular students and students with special needs connect socially and academically while learning in the same physical area. Sharing the same physical area while taking part in entirely separate activities is not inclusive; it is not an either-or situation. Because of this, it’s critical for the entire school community to recognise the value of inclusion and make it a priority. This includes school administrators, instructors, parents, and students. When that occurs, everyone wins.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
2. Parents sometimes struggle when
considering what type of education is best
for their son, whether it is public, private, or
boarding. There are a lot of considerations
that go into choosing which type of school is
the right fit.
This can include factors such as curriculum,
administration, faculty, supervision and
safety, admissions, finances, location, and
facilities. The choice should always be driven
by working to find the best school fit for each
student and family. In this presentation, we
will provide you with what you can expect
from a boarding school, a private school, and
a public school that may help you when
making the decision.
4. Boarding
Schools
If you choose a boarding school for your son,
your son will join an educational community
that includes challenging academics, diverse
extracurricular activities, learning to live and
interact with peers, and access to fault
outside of traditional school hours.
Boarding schools help prevent your son from
being anonymous. He will be part of a self-
contained community that revolves around
the same goals. He will be an active
participant in a wider range of activities,
academics and athletics.
5. Learning how to adjust to new
surroundings, and become
independent at boarding schools
creates an advantage when
going off to college or moving
away for a new job later in his
life.
Everything from athletic events,
study halls, down time, meals,
and other activities all operate
on a self-contained schedule.
Studying, living, and interacting
on campus also helps limit
negative outside influences as
well.
Boarding
Schools
6. Private Day Schools
Private day schools are another
option to consider for your son. This
option typically costs less than a
boarding school and the student
remains living at home.
Academics are the focus during the
day with the typical extracurricular
activities occurring outside of the
typical school day. It is important to
learn about your options with what
various private schools offer, from
academics, to athletics, and student
support.
7. Private Day Schools
Private day schools give you and your
son a little more flexibility than what
boarding schools offer. It allows your
son to live at home but attend a
private school during the day. This
keeps the responsibilities for the
student out of the school day with
the families. This includes daily
transportation to and from school.
8. Public Schools
Ninety percent of the children today in America attend
public school. Public schools come with the community
you live in and are governed by federal, state, and local
laws which include the control of funding, program
development and the curriculum.
If you are thinking about remaining in a public school,
learning about your district’s policies, existing
curriculum and extracurricular activities is important for
your student’s success.
Researching your district’s report card rating is also
important when making a decision. Public schools can
vary greatly depending on where they are located. This
includes everything from programs offered, student
support, and even transportation that is offered.
9. Public Schools
Public schools have a more general
education curriculum due to the vast levels
of learning. They are required by law to
educate all children, which means more
students and larger class sizes.
Due to the size of these classes at public
schools, there may be less opportunity for a
one-on-one or a hands-on style of learning
that is available at a boarding or private
school.
10. College Preparedness
As they learn how
to live and study
independently and
self reliantly,
school students
develop the skill
sets necessary for
success in college.
