This document introduces the students and learning focus of Room 1. It lists the 28 students' names and states they are organized for learning, make good behavior choices, and are self-managers. It describes the students as effective interactors who work with different people and groups, as well as with their tuakanateina. It notes the students are active participators who make positive connections with others during work and play. It mentions the students learn and assess using their 3 kete and that in Room 1 they are great learners who accept challenges, strive for excellence, and celebrate achievement while being engaged in learning.
