on Sept 24, 2019 from 5PM until 8PM to serve in 1 of
the following 2 roles.
In the Greeter role, you’ll be paired with 1 Political
Candidate and rotate or guide him/her from 1 table to
the next every 5 minutes from 6PM until 8PM.
In the Facilitator role, you’ll ask Candidates a set of
pre-determined questions and facilitate the conversation
when they rotate to your table.

Houston – will register and setup Alpha Team to walk and volunteer – NEED support brothers so
we have a presence – Divine 9 will be represented and we NEED to lead as Alpha does. Please

• The original task asked of Alpha Men is to HOLD HIGH THE LIGHT
• Purpose: show us in ‘good light’ to the city and bring attention to ALPHA.
• Gives us a point of contact in various locations around the city.
• Elevates the chapter brand; and may serve as a reclamation project.
• Pride within the chapter through this challenge – Unity
• Your Chapter is Challenged – Your Chapter can shine!

• Each Chapter(s) of initiation is going to be assigned a building Uptown
• You must contact the building management/staff and get them to light their
building on the evening of Wednesday December 4th in YELLOW LIGHTS.
• Our fraternity colors are not in most lighting patterns. Yellow…for the Rose!
• If you do not have a chapter in the challenge you can team w/another
• Successful Chapters will be recognized at the Jan 2020 meeting.

months out – some take months to pin-point the point of contact
• If you need a letter – on letter head let me know.
• Document this for future use – we may need to do this again for a District
or Regional event.
• Do not pay anything – if it is not free we will leave and boycott them 4eva!
