Recently the Company has added the highly effective blue indicating molecular sieve to
its roster of products.
The Delta staffs are expert in solutions for controlling moisture, preventing mildew,
odor, and corrosion. The 4a blue indicating molecular sieve desiccant is a sodium
alumina silicate molecular sieve injected with an inorganic metal salt moisture indicator.
The desiccant is known to act as a molecular sieve. It has the ability to reveal visually
when the molecular sieve achieves saturation. When active, the molecular sieve beads
are blue. Then beads arrive at saturation, the color changes to beige demonstrating
that the molecular sieve has reached equilibrium capacity and is then in need of
replacement.
4a blue indicating molecular sieve desiccant will not adsorb any molecules larger than
4A or 4 angstrom which are the sodium forms of the Type A crystal structure. 4A Blue
Indicating molecular sieve must be stored in an air tight, dry place to avert early water
adsorption.
Mole Sieve is one of the most reliable desiccants for a variety of applications including:
• Highly polar compounds, such as methanol and ethanol can be dehydrated.
• Removes moisturein PU Plastic or Paint
• Dries Natural Gas, Cracked Gas
• Drying Refrigerant
• Static drying for insulated glass units, air filled or gas-filled.
• Unsaturated hydrocarbons dehydrated (e.g. ethylene, propylene, butadien)
