Zlatan Ibrahimović, Antoine Griezmann, Drake. Co ich łączy? Tak jak 200 milionów innych graczy można ich spotkać w Fortnite. Najpopularniejsza gra na Youtube i Twitch odbiła się szerokim echem nie tylko wśród graczy, ale też osób na co dzień niezainteresowanych tą wirtualną rozrywką. Kto nie zetknął się z wypromowanym przez grę Floss Dance?
Masowy wpływ produkcji na młodą grupę graczy i ich otoczenie rzuca nowe światło na temat gier online. Fortnite stał się bardzo ważnym elementem kultury młodych, którzy nie tylko chcą spędzać w świecie gry każdą wolną chwilę, ale też wynoszą jej elementy do życia offline. Atrakcyjność Fortnite wynika z nowatorskiej formy, która łączy elementy gry, widowiska sportowego, animowanej bajki, której fabuła ciągle odgrywa się na nowo oraz nowego medium społecznościowego.
