This document contains information about 4 crashes that occurred at a T-junction serving as an alternative route to a tourist destination in Bandungan. All crashes involved motorcycles and resulted in light injuries only, with weather conditions including fine, cloudy, foggy and rain. Recommendations are made to improve safety at the intersection, including installing speed restriction signs, making the junction more conspicuous with additional signage and line markings, restricting some lanes to specific movements, adding pavement arrows and a median barrier, and installing an intersection traffic light system.

14. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BANDUNTAN:
 Speed restriction signs at 1km spacing's along NH
14 from Semarang to Bawen
 Make the Y junction more conspicuous
 Renew advanced direction signs on each approach to
show the diagrammatic layout of the intersection.
 Re line mark each approach.
 On north approach, mark three lanes – the left lane two
lanes for through traffic only, and the right lane for right
turn only.
 Pavement arrows – 3 pairs – on each approach
 Construct a median (semi mountable kerbs) along the
northern centre line all the way north to 100m passed
Citron crossing. Leave gaps for turns at critical
businesses

15. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BANDUNTAN:
 Install intersection signals.
 Use a three phase system
