A wind farm is constructed by first erecting a meteorological mast to measure wind speeds. Civil works are then performed to lay foundations and build roads. Electrical lines and a substation are constructed to connect the wind farm to the power grid. Wind turbine components like blades, nacelles, and towers are transported and assembled on foundations. Once assembled, the wind turbines operate continuously providing renewable energy.
