What else #1?
BizTalk Server 2016 with AlwaysOn, on Windows Server
2012 R2, requires KB3090973.
A minimum of 8 SQL instances is required.
Availability Groups needs to be created Per Database DTC
Support.

What else #2?
Use AG Listener names instead of SQL Server names.
Update SQL jobs manually
IF (sys.fn_hadr_is_primary_replica(‘dbname’) = 1)
You still need to implement the BizTalk Backup Job. A
secondary replica is NOT a backup!

What to remember
Always On does NOT require shared storage….
BUT does require SQL Enterprise Edition instead of SQL
Standard Edition!
Does require a LOT of setup. (2x BTS, WSCF cluster, 8x SQL
