Nowadays, the use of IT in teaching is very common. Computers, printer,
projectors, visualizer, photocopiers, fax machine etc., all these IT facilities can be
found everywhere in school. It is hard to imagine what the condition will be if there is
no IT facilities in school.
The reasons I use IT is due to it is quite convenience to me in preparing teaching
materials. There are plenty of teaching materials available in internet. I can download
those relevant videos, pictures, and so on in office or at home. It saves a lot of time to
draw the figures, or make animations by myself. Besides, most teachers have learnt
how to use IT in their daily work, if I don’t know how to use IT, I will get behind and
loss the job.
Another reasons to use IT is due to the use of it is definitely help students in
learning. For instance, there are a lot of concepts in Science, especially in Physics are
abstract, with the help of IT animation, it is easier to illustrate the idea to students.
