What a great event a Bible Based Praying conference in Nagua all day Saturday
June 12 and Monday night. Over 80 pastors and leaders attended. We were granted
permission to use “The Palacio Municipal” the City Center as our meeting location.
The material was translated with permission from Don Miller by Tony Ponceti and
                               Sister Rosa Truman.

Don Miller was able to deliver a word to the crowd by telephone from the states.
What a great experience we all had. Long hours, over 100 degrees and 100%
humidity and everyone stayed the full 15 hours of the conference. Many amazing
stories of pastors with little resources making an effort to learn so that they can
take this study back to their churches.

We provided breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday so that we would be able to
keep them all in the city and dinner on Monday night to complete the conference.
These pastors are enthusiastically taking this material back to their churches to

The program included a “Salt Covenant”. During this time pastors pledged to not

Vision Casting Seminars
Monday morning, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6-10 pm we
saw many pastors and leaders that could not make it to the major events. Plans had
been made for a “Vision Casting Seminar” for them. Snacks and materials were
                                provided.

The pastors had been asked to go before God and develop a vision of what He
wanted them to do in their communities. We studied on outreach, prayer
evangelism and ministering to their neighbors. All participants agreed to visit their
eight closest neighbors and ask permission to pray for them. As prayer needs will
come then during ministering opportunities each would be able to share the gospel.

John & Ryan led a time of Hope and Creativity.

Then we asked the pastors to gather their leaders and share the vision God had
given them. They would then not add anything else but each of their leaders would
