 Here’s one example of how this ministry recognizes and responds to the area’s diver-
 sity. When a young man was stabbed to death in Firgrove, it sent shock waves through
 the community. With resident leaders and other organizations, the ministry held two

                                                                   Our Fall Bible Study will look at the Life of Jesus in film. We will be looking at how
Lighting the Resurrection Candle:                                  Jesus is portrayed in such interpretive movies as Jesus of Nazareth, The King of
                                                                   Kings, The Greatest Story Ever Told, Jesus Christ Super Star, The Life of Brian, Jesus
                                                                   Revealed etc. The format will involve the use of film but we will not be watching
                                                                   the whole of each movie. Participants in this program will look at selected Bible
