Project Summary
Project 1 : BT Consumer Online, U.K. Aug 2016 to Dec 2017
• This project encompasses development and maintenance of BT e-commerce website which
provides customer a shopping cart to select and configure various services like PSTN, Mobile
handsets, SIM, Broadband and BT TV.
• BT e-commerce falls under two major platforms BT.com and Agent.com in which BT.com
provides order journey directly for registered customers and Agent.com is a portal for BT
agents who order products on behalf of their customers.
Order Journey : A customer selects products and services after which a confirm order is
generated in form of XML and is termed as ROCM(Request Order for Confirmation) then e-
comm team sends this ROCM to MCSO(Manage Customer Simplified Order) component then
MCSO calls OV (one view) for placing order, order id is generated using details in ROCM.
MCSO calls BAL(Billing Access Layer) to send billing details along with generated order id

Objective : This project enables a customer to order and manage telecom services.
Responsibilities :
• Running order journey after code changes and verifying the changes reflected in UI.
• Writing unit test cases for new code changes using cucumber framework BDD.
• Deploying component level code changes in CMS team-site.
Project : BT Global Services Jan 2017 to Nov 2017
• This is a big data project which works for NMS (Network Management System) for British
Telecom by analyzing social media feeds about BT services.

Purpose of the Project : Project aims to provide big data analytics solution to BT in U.K. and
round the globe. To provide TSO(Technology and Service Operations) team to leverage the
power of predictive analytics and real time insights to carry game changing business
transformation.
Responsibilities :
• Processing of data using Pig scripts and aggregation of data using Sqoop.
• Breaking data into buckets using HQL and create external Hive table.
• Successfully loading files to Hive and HDFS from MySQL using Spark.
