I am a Senior BI Engineer having end to end experience in Business Intelligence and Data
Warehouse application: requirement analysis, design, development, testing and production
support.
 In my 8+ years of experience I have played the role of a Developer, an Architect and a
Lead in providing solutions and involving in project design decisions improving business
processes.
 Worked as Microstrategy Architect in setting up the schema and project for top
management reporting projects.
 High degree of skill in Microstrategy design aspects in using Connection mapping,
Multisourcing, Dynamic sourcing, Security models, Cache and Cube design decisions

Client : Kodiak
Description : PTT or Push To Talk over Cellular (POC) is a service option for cellular phone
network that enables subscribers to use their phones as walkie talkies with
unlimited range. EI-PTT application provides the network operator to evaluate
Service provided to the subscribers, Usage, Churn due to Call failures and
Account Growth Pattern Trends.

Responsibilities:
 Worked with Project Management team to gather and analyse customer requirements.
 Worked on a POC with Design and ETL team to develop a data model to create a ‘Data

Description : Mobile Virtual Network Operator is a wireless communications service provider
that obtains bulk access to network services at wholesale rates from other network
operators and sets retail prices independently to its consumers. EI-MVNO
application enables the service provider to evaluate the consumer’s Usage (Data/
Voice/SMS), Churn Patterns and Activations & Rechrage trends.

Responsibilities:
 Worked with Product Management team to gather and analyse customer requirements.
 Worked on a POC to determine the best Microstrategy architecture setup for the project
and presented the findings to Project Management team. POC was to decide between
‘Warehouse Partitioning’ and ‘Connection Mapping’ architecture.
 Implemented Connection Mapping architecture in the project.
 Designed Microstrategy physical warehouse schema for the project.

3.  Worked with Design and ETL team on implementing aggregate model to improve
dashboard performance by reducing the analytical engine processing in Intelligence
server.
 Implemented the complex Single Sign On login for Corporate users by deploying
Corporate database for Project in DB and applying security filters.
 Improved the performance of adhoc reports to save 15 GB of server memory and saving
2 hours of execution time to meet the SLA.

Description : GMIS Stores project was developed to present the Retails reports for the users in
Stores hierarchy like Store Manager, Store Directors and Operational Directors
etc. The Retail reports will help the Store Users in determining the day to day
activities and the exact information on Sales, Waste and Stock position.

 Interact closely with the users and the BSA to understand requirements and
document requirements.
 Understand the high level functionalities of the reports such as the amount of data
to be displayed, drill, interlinking of documents.
 Prepared the technical Design Document involving the metric calculations
 Design and build Microstrategy Intelligent Cubes to increase the performance of

Description : GMIS SRD application provides Store managers and Operational managers
to integrate Space Management and Visual Merchandising with Category
management. The application provides the managers status on Stock on Hand,
maintain fewer empty shelves, increase space for a wider range,manage shelf
life of products and determine if the products need discounting or replacing.

cost, stock on hand at geography, product and period hierarchies. Through this
application, executives could view data at different time dimensions such as
MTD, YTD, Rolling 52 weeks and YOY.
