memcached to fulfill demands of chat room. Founded RESTful APIs in Jersey for both IOS and Android APPs.

Design of Social Network Platform for Sharing Actual Measurement Data, Simulation Results and Models in Civil
Engineering Domain
• Utilized Java and MongoDB to create social network platform for civil engineering researchers. Enable
to share measurement data and simulation results to verify algorithms of 10 energy simulation tools.
• Assisted users to create relationships and developed an algorithm for recommendation mechanism
through the relationships of users. The algorithm can provide 80% correct information to users.

Project manager & System developer (CFD visual system & Cost estimation system)
• Led a 5-member team to design an user-centered system which built by D3.JS to deal with data
visualization. Worked with members from 3 different fields and 2 big industries insiders.
• CFD visual system enhanced the readability of results from CFD simulation tools, reducing 10% time
cost of discussion. Cost estimation system improved 100% accuracy and let the workflow of discussion
reduce from 10 days to 2 days.

• Used Node.JS and apache nutch to crawl Yahoo News content to enrich NoSQL database, Neo4j, for an
android APP and apache solr to deal with the Chinese latent semantic analysis.
• Optimized the efficiency and accuracy of APP with query statement tuning and information retrieval. The disaster
news search engine APP successfully provided for users essential information.
