3 week residential retreat for cancer patients

3. The Retreat
 The program is offered as part of
Kaivalyadhama Yogic Hospital & Health
Care Centre
 3 weeks consist of:
◦ Use of Yoga science:
 Asanas,
 Pranayama
 Meditation,
 Yoga Nidra,
 Mudras
 Chanting
◦ Education

4. Who Is the Program for?
 Patients, during or post (allopathic)
chemotherapy and/or radiation treatments.
 Patients from all over the world with of all types
of cancer, all stages of cancer
 The groups are small – max 8 people
◦ Individual approach
◦ Yogic counseling

5. Program with a difference
 Focus on transformation of the human
being - the thinking, the psyche and
unresolved emotions and approach to
the body
 Patients work on multi levels – from
body through emotions to
subconscious, awareness and
changing the negative thought
patterns

6. Daily Schedule
 6:30-8:15 – Yoga – Kriyas/Asana/Pranayama
 8:30 – Breakfast
 9:00 – 11:00 Naturopathy Treatments
 11:00-12:00 – Pranayama/Meditation
 12:00 – Lunch
 3:00-4:30 – Lecture
 5:00 - 6:15 – Yoga Nidra
 6:30 – Dinner
 8:00-8:30 – Chanting/Meditation

 We measure on 1st day, last day and 3

HADS, WHO QoL, )
◦ Physiological changes as BP, heart rate,
improvements in performing asanas
 Results speak for themselves
