This document presents an analysis of open-loop power control (OLPC) and closed-loop power control (CLPC) techniques in LTE networks, focusing on their effects on user power adjustments, throughput, and bit error rate. The study shows that CLPC outperforms OLPC in terms of throughput and path loss while performing similarly in bit error rate. Results are based on simulations utilizing MATLAB, demonstrating the significance of effective power control in managing interference in mobile communication systems.
