of securing job posting. Meanwhile about 70,000 youths graduate yearly from
vocational training institutions and fail to secure employment, Befreelancer provides
job access to skilled youth thus curbing the women sexual incidents and filling trust
gap
ā Befreelancer is a digital platform that provides solutions & services by the help of
skilled freelancers.
ā Servicemen are sourced from training institutions, colleges and university, they have
centers countrywide with networks of trained youths.This enables clients to be
attended by competent people. Furthermore, we provide assurance for the quality of
the work done by remitting the freelancersā s portion only after the clientās approval.

ā The clients population of Dar Es Salaam is estimated to be around 1 million, the
targeted users are the middle and high income earners who are estimated to be a
minimum 40% of the clients, which brings our addressable market to an estimated
minimum of 400,000 users

market as in the freelancing jobs/deals at their own flexibility thus attracting more

ā Low budget creative marketing techniques such as user flyers at the hardware stores.
Digital marketing, through channels ranging from social media platforms, SEO,Ad-
words and the like to reach our online market segment.
6. The business/revenue model
ā Our primary revenue model is through charging a commission to each service
rendered through our platform, currently we take a 20% cut and the freelancer get the
80%.
ā Secondary revenue stream is through b2b freelance project management.
7. Traction: KPI metrics & milestones
ā Befreelancer is basically a click away accessible through the android application, it
leverages on the so called on the jobbing/part time and sparks the spirit of self-
employment, Rating and feedback from customers are used to rank and reward
freelancers. Incentivizes freelancers by providing insurance and social security benefits
ā Our current milestone is being able to complete a total of 300 projects from 1000 clients on
our platform with a total of 209 verified freelancers registered with us and the business
being recognized as one with plausible and probable impact in Africa.
ā Our next milestone is to have a total of 100000 verified freelancers registered on our
platform completing 500 projects per month. Most importantly developing and rolling out
our IOS App to provide a more personalized customer experience.This will take about a
year to attain this.
8. Forecast 2020
ā I envision my self being an experienced tech community leader and social
entrepreneur with Befreelancer widely known and operating in East Africa therefore
creating employment for more than 1000,000 youths across East Africa. Additionally
this will at a larger play a vital role of creating safer and sustainable career to women
by curbing the 30% of sexual abuse in our country.
