Assignment 1: Your mind map and research is good. Research could be improved by looking more
closely at fonts and colours used. Proposal needs to include legal and ethical thoughts – the age of
the model, the size of the model, in keeping with Elles style, not offensive etc. – this now added
Assignment 2: You have included further research, permission slips and risk assessment. Practice
photos and a rough plan of your double page spread now added.
Assignment 3: You have mostly realised your intentions here. Would be good to see a print out of the
finished article next to each other and perhaps photograph it. Check spelings – you say that eyeliner
is bang on ‘trench’ not trend?
Assignment 4: Evaluation has now been added and goes through your strengths and weaknesses
well. You have added a step by step showing how you created some elements, no explanation with it
though – this could be added for a higher grade.
