Demand based beam forming
technique with MIMO in NTN
ABSTRACT
• A novel radio resource management scheme, named Single-Frequency Multi-Beam
Transmission (SFMBT), for efficient delivery over the 5G NR multi-beam NTN systems.
• Providing stable and fast data transmission service is challenging in a high mobility wireless
communication system.
• Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) beam forming is deemed as a potential
solution.
• User Defined model - Demand Based Allocation(DBA) scheme is implemented here.
OBJECTIVE
• To maximize the overall efficiency of the mobile broadband and providing stable
and fast data transmission service.

• 3GPP enables the cooperation of satellite with terrestrial networks to
provide the 5G services with the promised key performance
indicators:

o Overall network reliability and security

NTN: APPLICATION
• 5G service roll out in un-served or underserved areas
• Reinforce service reliability by providing service continuity for
moving platforms.
• Increase service for critical communications, future
railway/maritime/aeronautical communications
• multicast/broadcast resources.
EXISTING SYSTEM
• In the existing system, it propose a novel radio resource management scheme, named Single-
Frequency Multi-Beam Transmission (SFMBT).
• The main thinking is to group beams into the dedicated Beam Areas, wherein a certain content
flow is delivered via simultaneous multi-beam transmissions over the same radio resources.
• A simulation campaign is conducted under different scenarios to assess the effectiveness of the
proposed SF-MBT algorithm as compared to the current schemes based on frequency reuse
DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM
• Single Frequency leads to interference
• More complex
• Wastage of Power resource.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
• In the proposed system, The design of Implementation of Multi-performance MIMO
Transmitter is carried out and call it as Nodes.
• Each nodes communicate with the Receiver end with different (Random) beam forming or
Coverage.
• When certain receiver in more demand the MIMO antennas share the beam coverage through
sharing the power(energy).
• All controls can be done by Automatically Through an User Defined model - Demand Based
Allocation(DBA) scheme.
• The output plots contains the BER graphs , Beam forming plots.
ADVANTAGES
• significant increases in system’s capacity
• bandwidth efficiency
• improvement in QoS.

  • 1. Demand based beam forming technique with MIMO in NTN
  • 2. ABSTRACT • A novel radio resource management scheme, named Single-Frequency Multi-Beam Transmission (SFMBT), for efficient delivery over the 5G NR multi-beam NTN systems. • Providing stable and fast data transmission service is challenging in a high mobility wireless communication system. • Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) beam forming is deemed as a potential solution. • User Defined model - Demand Based Allocation(DBA) scheme is implemented here.
  • 3. OBJECTIVE • To maximize the overall efficiency of the mobile broadband and providing stable and fast data transmission service. 3
  • 4. NTN: Non Terrestrial Networks • 3GPP enables the cooperation of satellite with terrestrial networks to provide the 5G services with the promised key performance indicators: oGlobal coverage & mobility o Service ubiquity o Overall network reliability and security Data Network NG-C NG- U UE gNB NGC N6
  • 5. NTN: APPLICATION • 5G service roll out in un-served or underserved areas • Reinforce service reliability by providing service continuity for moving platforms. • Increase service for critical communications, future railway/maritime/aeronautical communications • multicast/broadcast resources.

EXISTING SYSTEM • In the existing system, it propose a novel radio resource management scheme, named Single- Frequency Multi-Beam Transmission (SFMBT). • The main thinking is to group beams into the dedicated Beam Areas, wherein a certain content flow is delivered via simultaneous multi-beam transmissions over the same radio resources. • A simulation campaign is conducted under different scenarios to assess the effectiveness of the proposed SF-MBT algorithm as compared to the current schemes based on frequency reuse
  • 7. DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM • Single Frequency leads to interference • More complex • Wastage of Power resource.
  • 8. PROPOSED SYSTEM • In the proposed system, The design of Implementation of Multi-performance MIMO Transmitter is carried out and call it as Nodes. • Each nodes communicate with the Receiver end with different (Random) beam forming or Coverage. • When certain receiver in more demand the MIMO antennas share the beam coverage through sharing the power(energy). • All controls can be done by Automatically Through an User Defined model - Demand Based Allocation(DBA) scheme. • The output plots contains the BER graphs , Beam forming plots.
  • 9. ADVANTAGES • significant increases in system’s capacity • bandwidth efficiency • improvement in QoS.
