HOW TO SET SUCCESSFUL
GOALS
Make sure your goals and
action steps are congruent
Be clear with your purpose
Sometime what you want to accomplish can
be achieved in different ways, depend on
your purpose.
For example, if your goal is to lose weight to
become a healthier person, make sure your
action steps help you lose weight in a healthy
way to become a healthier person.
Some people might try to lose weight through
starvation.
However, starvation would not increase your
health because it causes muscle loss.
When you starve yourself, you are not losing
weight to become a healthier person.
You might lose weight through starvation, but
it does not fulfill your purpose, which is to
become a healthier person.
Weight loss through starvation
Weight loss to become healthier
To become a healthier person you would need to
apply healthy habits, such as eating more
nutritious food and eating less foods with a high fat
and sugar content.
The good thing is that if you began to eat healthier
foods and decrease your consumption of less
healthy foods it would help you to lose weight in
addition to making you healthier.
Be sure your goal and action steps are congruent

you are clear about the end result you
want to achieve.

help you to achieve your goal.
