Jefferson School provides a blended preschool program that serves both typical students and those with special needs. The program focuses on social-emotional, cognitive, language, and motor development using research-based curricula. Integrated therapies such as speech, occupational, and physical therapy are provided. Students work on independence skills like toileting and transitioning between activities. Therapy dogs also visit to help teach social and play skills. The program aims to prepare students for kindergarten.
VR Group - B2B School - About Bubbles 2 Balloons vrgroup
BUBBLES TO BALLOONS - Is a chain of preschool, which currently operates in Jaipur at Mansarovar & Vidhyadhar Nagar. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
At Little Zebra, we focus on activity based learing, since conscious learing emerges from activity & performance. Children are encouraged to accommodate changes in theory and practise in ways that add value to their discipline. The school uses child friendly educational aids to foster self learing and allows a child to learn according to his/her aptitude and skill. Our methodology gives the child as mush physical and intellectual freedom as is seen safe and possible. With hands on experience our children are able to learn using all five senses.
Our curriculum is language rich since story telling, drama and poetry are a part of every lesson. This helps stimulate the child sense of wonder and imagination. The programme is designed to appeal to the 'head, heart and hands' that is to reach the children through all their senses. Every child is encouraged to create and to learn new skills in their own comfort level. our classroms are filled with child-sized equipment for activites that stimulate practical life. The program is geared towards planned learning of the pre-concepts of math and science in a fun, exploratory way. Based on this approach the curriculum is designed to help children develop a wide spectrum of skills in a positive environment.
Our goal is to help children become socially and emotionally well adjusted and grow up as physically strong and happy. Observing and listening carefully to child interests and understanding how to plan activities that add meaning and value to their understanding is our prime focus of educating pre-schoolers. We believe in partnering with families to provide a foundation for eariy education while developing the whole in a secure and nurturing environment.
Our role as educators is to facilatate and guide their educational journey always in tune to their individual way of learning and processing information. Our teachers only work to guide and observe and do not act as instructors or disciplinarians. Our dedicated team, encourage exploration that makes learning fun. The aim of our teachers would be to construct a learning environment in which children are given opportunities to make decisions, pursue their questions and discover new ideas through play and informal learning activities. Guided participation in the activites of the children is the primary role of our teachers at little Zebra.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Editor's Notes
Tonight we would like to share with the Board and the Community the exciting programs that are offered at Jefferson School. We are a small community with a big heart.
Jefferson school houses a variety of programs. These include:
Our early childhood students with and without sp needs all learn together through research based curricula and through integrated therapies. We foster the development of social skills through guided play. Technology is integrated into the curriculum throughout the day. While working on foundational skills and kindergarten readiness, we facilitate a love of learning to last beyond the preschool years.
Through on going professional development the preschool teachers use researched based curricula to teach developmentally appropriate skills. We promote social-emotional growth, cognitive development, language acquisition, as well as fine and gross motor skills by using the Creative Curriculum. Additional resources used support the development of these areas.
Fostering independence gives our young learners the confidence they need to succeed as future District 64 learners. Some of the skills taught include: school routine, potty training, handling their supplies and becoming more independent.
At the Jefferson Blended Preschool therapies are determined by each child’s needs. The services may be delivered through co-teaching, group therapy and/or individual therapy. The team, which includes teachers, parents and therapists, work together to promote student achievement.
In addition to the classroom students participate in language, social, and OT/PT group as well as group gym every week. These provided our students with opportunities to generalize skills taught. Through our partnerships with ELF and the Park Ridge Library we have strengthened our community connection.
The structured teaching program is designed for students who learn better with individualized instruction and benefit from increased time to practice independence. Therefore, circle time (which may be shorter) is where stories and songs are enjoyed. Preschool concepts and learning experiences are provided in work stations with focus on building independence.
This nationally recognized program instructs preschoolers in a multi-sensory, hands on method of early handwriting that is researched based.
Thank you for listening to our presentation. Please come visit us at Jefferson anytime. We’d love to see you there!
