It strives to showcase new artists in these genres and has established a worldwide reputation for its high quality. Q magazine has expanded beyond print to radio, television, and social media platforms. established a huge worldwide
reputation and is widely trusted
due to its high quality.
Q magazine is published by Bauer media and was first
produced in 1986 and they have been involved with their own
annual awards show which is for the artists featured in their
magazine. They also have extended to other forms of social
media such as radio when they established Q radio in 2008 and
they even transmitted onto digital television networks in the
UK and on the internet.

3. Kerrang! is another magazine published by Bauer. It was first
published in 1981 and is a UK based magazine which thrives to
promote the genres of rock, indie and alternative. The magazine
is published weekly and they have established a big brand that
spreads to outside of the UK and has also produced a range of
other elements of social media and events such as Kerrang!
Radio (2000), Kerrang! TV(2001), the Kerrang! Website (2001),
Kerrang! Awards (1993) and the Kerrang! Tour.

4. Mojo is another magazine that is produced by Bauer and is the
worlds largest UK magazine which was first produced in 1993. The
magazine focuses directly on the classic Rock and the alternative
genre of music. As well as other Bauer productions there is a radio
station for Mojo which is transmitted on digital radio stations in the
UK. Mojo is most well known for its high standard and iconic
photographs that all of the fans of the magazine appreciate
especially the fans who are particularly devoted music lovers.
