Joomla is a popular open source content management system (CMS) that allows users to easily build and manage websites and online applications without needing technical skills. A CMS like Joomla tracks and stores all website content, making it simple for users to manage. PHP and MySQL are commonly used programming languages that allow for dynamic website content and interaction with databases. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) provide an easy way to control formatting and visual design across an entire website without needing to modify HTML. Simple free website building tools allow users to create basic sites without coding knowledge.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.

Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

2. Joomla is an award-winning content management
system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites
and powerful online applications. Many
aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have
made Joomla the most popular Web site software
available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution
that is freely available to everyone.
What's a content management system (CMS)?
A content management system is software that keeps
track of every piece of content on your Web site, much
like your local public library keeps track of books and
stores them. Content can be simple
text, photos, music, video, documents, or just about
anything you can think of. A major advantage of using a
CMS is that it requires almost no technical skill or
knowledge to manage. Since the CMS manages all
your content, you don't have to.
3. PHP
PHP is a general-purpose server-
side scripting language originally
designed for web development to
produce dynamic web pages.
4. Software for dynamic pages
ANSI C servlets,
JavaServer Pages (JSP)
PHP
Perl
Active Server Pages (ASP), and
ColdFusion(CFML)
Sites may also include content that is
retrieved from one or more databases or
by using XML-based technologies such
as RSS.
5. php - what is it?
PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting
language,allows web developers to write
dynamically generated pages.
A powerful, behind the scenes scripting
language.
PHP processes visitor`s request and then
translates into HTML. then it sends the
webpage to your visitor's web browser.
Reduce the time to create large websites.
Create a customized, visitors based on
information that you have gathered from
them.
Allow creation of shopping carts for e-
commerce websites.
6. My SQL-PHP
MySQL is a relational database
management system (RDBMS) that runs
as a server providing multi-user access
to a number of
databases. The SQL phrase stands for
Structured Query Language.
Open Source.
For many people, the main reson for
learning a scripting language like PHP is
because of the interaction with
databases it can offer.
7. CSS
Cascade Style Sheets can make an author's life
much easier. While one could use <HR
WIDTH="75%" SIZE=5 ALIGN=center> for every
horizontal rule, this becomes very cumbersome for
the author. With style sheets, one only needs to
specify such presentational preferences once, and
the style can be applied to an entire site. And if the
author decides that WIDTH="50%" would be
better, then he or she only needs to change this
preference in one place, rather than having to
search through hundreds of pages to change the
HTML. Not only that, but style sheets also reduce
download time when one file contains all the style
information.
10. Scripting
Scripts can be run by web browsers to
change the appearance or behaviour
of a web page, for example, to change
the content to be specific to the
current user. A host of special-purpose
languages have been developed to
control the operation of web browsers.
These includeJavaScript;
