BASIC COMMERCE (ASAS PERDAGANGAN) SPL 1302
COURSE OUTLINE: Synopsis This course is designed to expose students to the basic commerce and entrepreneurship practices in Malaysia. The main focus is to developed knowledge in business planning, entrepreneurship concept, business ethics, business management and financial management. Emphasis is given on the various aspects involved vision and mission in business including different types of business registrations and ownerships; various types of financial institutions; governmental and non-governmental support systems. Students should be able to demonstrate the application of knowledge by exploring and preparing a complete business plan, business ethics, business management and financial report. Students should be able to integrate self-responsibilities and positive attitude towards commerce and entrepreneurship education especially for their career as educators in future.
By the end of this course, students should be able to: Demonstrate knowledge, understanding and application in commerce and entrepreneurship Demonstrate skills and competencies in knowledge, theories, concepts and practices of commerce and entrepreneurship Portraying abilities to learn independently, creative, innovative and actively participate in developing business plan Demonstrate positive attitude and develop work ethics as important components in commerce and entrepreneurship in education as well as in teaching profession COURSE OUTLINE: Learning Outcomes
