Introduction:
The GET-1032BD controller is an excellent platform for developing control devices based on a 60MHz Rabbit
4000 processor. It has a wide variety of communications interfaces and a full complement of analog and digital
I/O to provide a flexible solution with many potential uses. Amongst the many features the GET-1032BD
provides are:
 Programmable using Dynamic C which comes with a rich selection of libraries providing support for all the
hardware features of the board. In addition, Dynamic C libraries provide support for many software
features including a full TCP/IP stack with embedded web server, Modbus support, RTOS, ZigBee module
support and much more. The Dynamic C BACnet stack provides full support for the GET-1032BD and
makes implementing a working BACnet device a much less painful process.
 512KB of Flash memory for program storage, 512KB of Fast RAM for executing programs with 0 wait states
and 512KB of battery backed RAM for data storage.
 On-board Micro SD socket allowing for support of up to 2GB of additional data storage.
 On-board wireless module socket supporting the GET-1000WM Wireless M-Bus module and XBee
modules from Digi International providing a variety of wireless solutions. The wireless module socket can
also be used to provide an additional 3.3V TTL level serial interface for connecting other peripherals.
 The LED and push button switch attached to the wireless module socket may be routed to I/O pins on the
Rabbit 4000 by fitting wire links when a wireless module is not fitted.
 2xRS485 ports and 1xRS232 serial port with RTS and CTS support.
 USB interface for programming and debugging using Dynamic C.
 10 base-T network connection with comprehensive TCP/IP support.
 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs, 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs. This allows the GET-1032BD to
sense pulses, digital values, analog voltages, 4-20mA values and thermistor sensors. The digital and analog
outputs can be used for control applications.
 Battery backed Real Time Clock.
 Externally accessible pushbutton switch and programmable LED.
 4 Internal jumpers for option selection.
 Flexible and stylish enclosure offering DIN rail mounting, screw fix wall mounting or desktop mounting
options.

Inputs/Outputs
8 Digital inputs – These can be used for normal digital input operation or for pulse counting.
8 Analog Inputs – These inputs have 12 bit resolution. They can be used for 0-10Vdc, 0-20mA/4-20mA and
resistance mode for use with temperature sensors etc.
8 digital Outputs – These Darlington pair outputs can be used as sinking digital outputs for up to 50V loads.
Outputs 1 and 5 have a single Darlington pair driving the pins. All other outputs have 2 Darlington pairs in
parallel to provide a higher drive current. Digital outputs 7 and 8 can be used for high speed PWM operation.
8 Analog Outputs – 0-10Vdc, 12 bit resolution, maximum current capability is 20mA. It is not recommended to
have maximum current on all outputs simultaneously. They can also be operated as 0-10Vdc binary outputs.
Communications Interfaces:
The GET-1032BD comes equipped with a comprehensive collection of communications ports to ensure
maximum flexibility.
Port Possible uses
RS485 Port A BACnet MS/TP, Modbus Master or Slave operation
RS485 Port B BACnet MS/TP, Modbus Master or Slave operation
