Special Humanitarian Project Participated or Involved:
Summary of Work/Activities done by the SKW-LFLLCF-USA Pakistan chapter from January 23,
2015 to August 10,2015 in Bajaur Agency.
I started work as a volunteer with SKW-LFLLCF-USA Pakistan chapter from 23rd
January,
2015 to the present. During this period I was involved in carrying out significant work for the
Amputees and deserving families of Bajaur Agency. The details of that worked included the
following activities:
1: ARTIFICIAL LIMBS FOR AMPUTEES:
Bajaur Agency has a large number of amputees because of the series bombings and military
operation against militant and these amputees badly needed immediate artificial limbs to live a
normal life. Therefore when I joined the SKW-LFLLCF-USA Pakistan Chapter in January 2015 I
immediately collected the data of these amputees for SKW-LFLLCF-USA Pakistan chapter. I
was able to list down 40 amputees and was submitted to the Hope rehabilitation center Lahore
to Dr Khalid Niazi for selection of ten amputees for fist batch. Dr Khalid Niazi selected (9) nine
including two female for the artificial limbs beneficiaries. Then I went to Lahore with nine 9
amputees and Dr Khalid niazi arranged camp for them which was sponsored by the SKW-
LFLLCF-USA Pakistan chapter. The Madam Incharge also arranged for two nights
accommodation for these 9 nine amputees and 4 four other supporting people. From the camp
after the examination for the fitting of the artificial limbs on each of the amputees they returned
to Bajaur Agency. After two months we went back to Lahore for the attachment of the artificial
limbs. The Hope rehabilitation center made the limbs for 9 Nine amputees. These limbs are very
costly and best quality that no ordinary poor person will be able to afford SKW-LFLLCF-USA
Pakistan chapter shouldered all the expenses of limbs preparation and other incidental
expenses. Now these amputees are living like other normal people and they always pray for
Madam and thanking her for this noble support. This is a big and noble work which the SKW-
LFLLCF-USA Pakistan chapter has done in the remote and backward areas of Pakistani Tribal
in Bajaur Agency.
