SUMMARY OF CAPABILITIES:
Since joining Dar Al-Hadassah Consultants (Shair and Partners) in 2008, I have
successfully contributed in capacities of Senior Mechanical , MEP manager and up to
RE for several projects undertaken by the Firm which included the construction of :
KFUPM-Business Park (mixed-use project of high rise offices, hotels and retails) in
KSA-Dhahran- RAMCO, Dar ALhijra Project (mixed-use project consist of 82 hotel,
12 offices, hospital, metro station, mall , central district cooling 500000 TR ,
treatment plants and infrastructure) in KSA-Medina , High Speed Railway Project
( 5train stations, 4 Work bases, OCC and BOCC buildings) in KSA, Pediatric Hospital
at King Hussein Medical City (KHMC) in Amman (200 beds), Al-Saleh Mosque in
Yemen, the design of Saraya Head Quarters & W-Hotel in Amman (40 storey multi
storey tower), renovation works of the whole Commercial Complex and Le Meridian
Hotel Buildings in Amman, the infrastructure works within Mafraq Development
Area north of Amman, and managing of and supervision on the construction of Dar
Al-Handasah Head Offices in Amman, Jordan.
Currently I am working With DAR-KSA in a capacity of RE and MEP manager to
supervise on and manage both technical and management of the Construction of Phase
1 package2 of Dar Alhijra Project which compromises 3 high rise hotels, 6 high rise
offices and multi-story car park along with all its associated infra-structure and
services with total Cost of 3,000,000,000 $
Prior to Joining DAR, I was working with Royal Medical Services, in a capacity of Senior
Mechanical Engineer, namely on Hospital related projects which included the
construction of Queen Alia Hospital for Heart Disease, Prince Hussein Hospital,
Queen Rania Centre, Nuclear Medicine, ICU and operating theatre, Princess
Muna College. I have gained considerable experience while with the Royal Medical
Services as since 1991 I have acted in the capacity of Maintenance Mechanical
Engineer for RMC hospitals and in particular KHMC where I became Chief of
Maintenance Department for KHMC .
My duties included: managing and supervising projects’ related technical and
management issues including but not limited to: following up and reviewing
projects’ design issues, tendering analysis, approval of Material and shop drawing
submittals, checking and approval of Materials delivered to site, follow-up on site
installations and ensuring their compliance with project requirements and quality
procedures, handling and replying correspondences and site clarifications , checking
and approval of interim and final payment certificates , approval of as built drawings
and O&M manuals, testing and commissioning, and evaluation of Contractor claims.
The main mechanical systems in the projects which I have worked on
are:
• HVAC systems: Central District cooling plants , Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, PCM/TES
system, split units, package units, Duct networks and its associated
accessories, VAVs, CAVs, heating and Chilled water Pumps, 4 pipes system,
heat exchangers, water misting , under flooring systems and Solar systems.
• Plumbing Systems: Hot and cold water network systems , Booster
pumps, hot water circulation Pumps , heat exchangers, Filtration systems,
Softener systems , Water storage system , Water treatment systems, Grey
water systems, Swimming pools and Plumbing fixtures.
• Fire Fighting Systems: FF pumps, Sprinklers, Fire hose cabinets, Fire hydrants,

Project Description: King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Business
Park Project (KFUPM) aims to develop a mixed use project in approximately 200,000
m2 of its land (herein “Site”) in Dhahran – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The subject of the
subsequent phase would be an approximate area of 610,000 m2 at the south east of
the Site.
The Project includes residential apartments, offices (grade A), Hotel (4 star), serviced
apartments, support retail (apartment and offices) and, support facilities and hospitality
along with the related internal roads, parking . The Project consists of following
Packages
 Package 1: KFUPM Business Park (BP) Site Development & Utilities:
This package is related to the execution of the Site Development and Utilities.
 Package 2: KFUPM BP Buildings (Part 1): 15 Buildings of high rise buildings of
350,000 sqm built-up area
Package 2 is related to the execution of the first 15 buildings. The design will be
developed and then the related works will be executed (construction of the
buildings).
 Package 3: KFUPM BP Buildings (Part 2): 15 Buildings of high rise buildings of
300,000 sqm of Built-up Area:
Package 3 is related to the construction of the remaining 15 buildings. This will
be followed by the construction of said buildings by the Contractor to be
awarded the execution contract.
) PROJECT NAME : Dar Alhijra- Phase 1 Package 2 Project
Location of Project : KSA-Medina
Cost of Construction : 2 ,800,000,000 US Dollars.

Project Description: The whole Project ( 14 packages) comprises 82 hotels, 1 mall, 12
offices, mosques, hospital service buildings, Bus and Metro station in addition to the
viaduct for the Metro, external landscaping and all associated infrastructure.
Phase 1 package 2 which I am assigned as RE for it compromises:
 Office Buildings ; 6 high rise offices buildings
 Ministry of Haj building ( 14 floors)
 3 high rise Hotels
 and multi-story car park
 infrastructure and landscaping
a) PROJECT NAME : Al Haramain High Speed Railway
Location of Project : KSA
Cost of Construction : 4,500,000,000 US Dollars.
Position : Lead/senior Mechanical and Control
Engineer/Core Team
Project Description: The Haramain High-speed Railway is a major infrastructure
project for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, connecting the cities of Makkah, Madinah,
Jeddah and the developing King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). Altogether, the
large, flexible stations will cover an area more than 30 times the size of London’s
Trafalgar Square and will initially accommodate an anticipated 60 million passengers
each year.
The Haramain High Speed Rail (HHSR) Phase 1 package 2 for Makkah station is a
prestigious project and it defines large number of Civil and Electro Mechanical works
scope. Basically this Station is based on a modular approach and it assumes a high
degree of fabrication.
The Project consist of
1. Five main passenger stations, each consist of
 Main Building which comprise of service basement, service tunnels,
platforms, departure & Arrival concourses and basement car park.
 All external road & landscaping elements.
 All Design & Built Activities for the following items (Mosque, Car park,
Fire station and Helipad).
2. One Operation Control Centre (OCC) building equipped with all
electromechanical and control systems to control and monitor the trains and
all other building activities and information.
3. One Back up Operation Control Centre (BOCC) building which is typical to
OCC equipped with all electromechanical and control systems to control and
monitor the trains and all other building activities and information.
4. Four work bases equipped with all heavy maintenance equipments to
perform the main maintenance tasks for trains.
5. Two depots equipped with all routine maintenance equipments to perform
the routine maintenance tasks for trains
b). PROJECT NAME : Pediatric Hospital (KHMC)
Location of Project : Jordan.
Cost of Construction : 35 million US Dollars.
Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision
Project Description : It is first Hospital dedicated for children in Jordan, it consists
of six floors, with a total built up area of 30,000m2, 200 beds, equipped with up to
date and high tech Electromechanical and medical equipments to support the
following hospital departments and sections: Emergency, Radiology, Laboratory,
operating theaters, ICUs, CCUs, patients wards, kitchen, laundry, and comprehensive
electromechanical power plants.
c). PROJECT NAME : Al-Saleh Mosque and College Project.
Location of Project : Yemen
Cost of Construction : 120 million US Dollars.
Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision
Project Description : This Project consist of mosque , learning college,
external/service buildings, mechanical plants for domestic water pumping station,
HVAC generation power plants, complete irrigation system, Fire Fighting systems
and their associated networks. The total built up area around 60,000m2, out of
which 6000 m2 is dedicated for praying area
d). PROJECT NAME : Dar Al-Handasah Design Office Project.
Location of Project : Jordan
Cost of Construction : 20 million US Dollars.
Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision
Project Description : The building consists of 9 Floors with a total built area of
(21839)m2, owned by Dar Al- Handasah as Design Office in Jordan, it is equipped with
the most up to date electromechanical and control systems . In addition to my role as
senior mechanical Engineer, I had been assigned to act as Resident Engineer to
run and manage all the construction and administrative works/activities of this
project.
e). PROJECT NAME : Commercial Complex and Le Meridian Hotel
Buildings.
Location of Project : Jordan
Cost of Construction : 8.5 million US Dollars.
Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision
Project Description : The works included: renovation of ball rooms, HVAC
equipments (AHUS, FCUs) in the power plants and its associated duct and piping
networks, building a new restaurant and kitchen at the swimming pool level with all
associated kitchen and HVAC equipments, renovation and relocation works at chiller
plant and firefighting pumping station/networks, in addition to the renovation works for
domestic water system networks
f).PROJECT NAME : KHBT Development Area at Mafraq, Infrastructure
Works Location of Project : Jordan
Cost of Construction: 15 million US Dollars.

Project Description The Works include: Water Supply and Distribution Network of
14 KM HDPE pipes with diameters up to 400 mm, Water pumping station
employing 2 vertical turbine pumps each pump is rated to deliver 25 l/s at 50m,
Sewage Treatment Plant and Sewage Collection Network, 14.5km sewage
network up 600 mm diameter uPVC and GRP pipes, Sewage pumping station with
capacity of 30 l/s, employing three 30 l/s Submersible Pumps.
j) .PROJECT NAME : Saraya Head Quarters & W-Hotel in Abdali Amman
Location of Project : Jordan
Estimated Cost : 160 million US Dollars .

Project Description : The project was in the design stage where I had participated in
the design of its mechanical systems; it is a 40 storey tower to house both Saraya Head
Quarter W-Hotel in Abdali Amman.

heart disease and surgery , it consists of 4 floors, total built up area of 15000m2, 120
bed, equipped with high tech medical and electromechanical equipments to support
all the requirements to have this hospital deals with heart disease and surgeries.
b). PROJECT NAME : Prince Hussein Hospital for Kidneys diseases
Location of Project : Jordan
Cost of Construction : 16 million US Dollars.

Project Description : The hospital is constructed to be specialized in kidneys
disease and surgery, it is 3 floors building, total built up area of 11000m2, 80 bed,
equipped with all medical and electromechanical equipments to have this hospital
working properly and achieve the purpose based on which it had been constructed.
c). PROJECT NAME : Queen Rania Centre for Rehabilitation of Special Needs
Location of Project : Jordan
Cost of Construction : 5 million US Dollars.

Project Description The Centre is constructed to serve the retired military solders
with special needs (handicapped persons), it is 2 floors and basement, total build up
area of 6000m2, equipped with all medical and electromechanical equipments that are
suitable to serve such people of special needs.
d). PROJECT NAME : Princess Muna College for Nursing.
Location of Project : Jordan
Cost of Construction : 5 million US Dollars.

Project Description : The second phase of the college project includes 4 blocks;
Block 1 is the Nursing College: it is a 2 story building with an area of 1,800 m2, it
includes lecture halls, 500-people auditorium, nursing lab, English language lab and
instructors offices. Block II is a kitchen and dining halls for students and staff. The
third Block is a 2 story building for amenities and student lounges. Block IV included
the renovation of the whole campus central heating plant room.
e) PROJECT DISCRIPTION : Small projects in King Hussein Medical City and

• Managed maintenance , preventive maintenance , repair and
troubleshooting of all electro mechanical systems including: all types of pumps,
HVAC systems, medical gas systems ,BMS systems, steam and water boilers,

equipments , air compressors , plumbing systems , electrical systems, fire
alarm systems , fully automatic generators , and swimming pools.
• Supervised the start up and operation of all electromechanical systems.
• Prepared and managed an annual spare parts budget of 500,000 JD to maintain
proper operation of the working systems.
• Supervised on the infra structure projects and the renovation of equipments
within an annual budget of about 1,000,000 JD.

Since joining Dar Al-Hadassah Consultants (Shair and Partners) in 2008, I have successfully contributed in capacities of Senior Mechanical , MEP manager and up to RE for several projects undertaken by the Firm which included the construction of : KFUPM-Business Park (mixed-use project of high rise offices, hotels and retails) in KSA-Dhahran- RAMCO, Dar ALhijra Project (mixed-use project consist of 82 hotel, 12 offices, hospital, metro station, mall , central district cooling 500000 TR , treatment plants and infrastructure) in KSA-Medina , High Speed Railway Project ( 5train stations, 4 Work bases, OCC and BOCC buildings) in KSA, Pediatric Hospital at King Hussein Medical City (KHMC) in Amman (200 beds), Al-Saleh Mosque in Yemen, the design of Saraya Head Quarters & W-Hotel in Amman (40 storey multi storey tower), renovation works of the whole Commercial Complex and Le Meridian Hotel Buildings in Amman, the infrastructure works within Mafraq Development Area north of Amman, and managing of and supervision on the construction of Dar Al-Handasah Head Offices in Amman, Jordan. Position : MEP Manager with ARAMCO Core Team Project Description: King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Business Park Project (KFUPM) aims to develop a mixed use project in approximately 200,000 m2 of its land (herein “Site”) in Dhahran – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The subject of the subsequent phase would be an approximate area of 610,000 m2 at the south east of the Site. The Project includes residential apartments, offices (grade A), Hotel (4 star), serviced apartments, support retail (apartment and offices) and, support facilities and hospitality along with the related internal roads, parking . The Project consists of following Packages  Package 1: KFUPM Business Park (BP) Site Development & Utilities: This package is related to the execution of the Site Development and Utilities.  Package 2: KFUPM BP Buildings (Part 1): 15 Buildings of high rise buildings of 350,000 sqm built-up area Package 2 is related to the execution of the first 15 buildings. The design will be developed and then the related works will be executed (construction of the buildings).

Position : RE Project Description: The whole Project ( 14 packages) comprises 82 hotels, 1 mall, 12 offices, mosques, hospital service buildings, Bus and Metro station in addition to the viaduct for the Metro, external landscaping and all associated infrastructure. Phase 1 package 2 which I am assigned as RE for it compromises:  Office Buildings ; 6 high rise offices buildings  Ministry of Haj building ( 14 floors)  3 high rise Hotels  and multi-story car park  infrastructure and landscaping a) PROJECT NAME : Al Haramain High Speed Railway Location of Project : KSA Cost of Construction : 4,500,000,000 US Dollars. Position : Lead/senior Mechanical and Control Engineer/Core Team Project Description: The Haramain High-speed Railway is a major infrastructure project for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, connecting the cities of Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and the developing King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). Altogether, the large, flexible stations will cover an area more than 30 times the size of London’s Trafalgar Square and will initially accommodate an anticipated 60 million passengers each year. The Haramain High Speed Rail (HHSR) Phase 1 package 2 for Makkah station is a prestigious project and it defines large number of Civil and Electro Mechanical works scope. Basically this Station is based on a modular approach and it assumes a high degree of fabrication. The Project consist of 1. Five main passenger stations, each consist of  Main Building which comprise of service basement, service tunnels, platforms, departure & Arrival concourses and basement car park.  All external road & landscaping elements.  All Design & Built Activities for the following items (Mosque, Car park, Fire station and Helipad).

One Back up Operation Control Centre (BOCC) building which is typical to OCC equipped with all electromechanical and control systems to control and monitor the trains and all other building activities and information. 4. Four work bases equipped with all heavy maintenance equipments to perform the main maintenance tasks for trains. 5. Two depots equipped with all routine maintenance equipments to perform the routine maintenance tasks for trains b). PROJECT NAME : Pediatric Hospital (KHMC) Location of Project : Jordan. Cost of Construction : 35 million US Dollars. Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision Project Description : It is first Hospital dedicated for children in Jordan, it consists of six floors, with a total built up area of 30,000m2, 200 beds, equipped with up to date and high tech Electromechanical and medical equipments to support the following hospital departments and sections: Emergency, Radiology, Laboratory, operating theaters, ICUs, CCUs, patients wards, kitchen, laundry, and comprehensive electromechanical power plants. c). PROJECT NAME : Al-Saleh Mosque and College Project. Location of Project : Yemen Cost of Construction : 120 million US Dollars. Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision Project Description : This Project consist of mosque , learning college, external/service buildings, mechanical plants for domestic water pumping station, HVAC generation power plants, complete irrigation system, Fire Fighting systems and their associated networks. The total built up area around 60,000m2, out of which 6000 m2 is dedicated for praying area d). PROJECT NAME : Dar Al-Handasah Design Office Project. Location of Project : Jordan Cost of Construction : 20 million US Dollars. Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision Project Description : The building consists of 9 Floors with a total built area of (21839)m2, owned by Dar Al- Handasah as Design Office in Jordan, it is equipped with the most up to date electromechanical and control systems . In addition to my role as senior mechanical Engineer, I had been assigned to act as Resident Engineer to run and manage all the construction and administrative works/activities of this project. e). PROJECT NAME : Prince Hussein Hospital for Kidneys diseases Location of Project : Jordan Cost of Construction : 16 million US Dollars. Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision Project Description : The hospital is constructed to be specialized in kidneys disease and surgery, it is 3 floors building, total built up area of 11000m2, 80 bed, equipped with all medical and electromechanical equipments to have this hospital working properly and achieve the purpose based on which it had been constructed. c). PROJECT NAME : Queen Rania Centre for Rehabilitation of Special Needs Location of Project : Jordan Cost of Construction : 5 million US Dollars. Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision Project Description The Centre is constructed to serve the retired military solders with special needs (handicapped persons), it is 2 floors and basement, total build up area of 6000m2, equipped with all medical and electromechanical equipments that are suitable to serve such people of special needs. d). PROJECT NAME : Princess Muna College for Nursing. Location of Project : Jordan Cost of Construction : 5 million US Dollars. Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer/Site supervision Project Description : The second phase of the college project includes 4 blocks; Block 1 is the Nursing College: it is a 2 story building with an area of 1,800 m2, it includes lecture halls, 500-people auditorium, nursing lab, English language lab and instructors offices. Block II is a kitchen and dining halls for students and staff. The third Block is a 2 story building for amenities and student lounges.
