3. Since joining Dar Al-Hadassah Consultants (Shair and Partners) in 2008, I have
successfully contributed in capacities of Senior Mechanical , MEP manager and up to
RE for several projects undertaken by the Firm which included the construction of :
KFUPM-Business Park (mixed-use project of high rise offices, hotels and retails) in
KSA-Dhahran- RAMCO, Dar ALhijra Project (mixed-use project consist of 82 hotel,
12 offices, hospital, metro station, mall , central district cooling 500000 TR ,
treatment plants and infrastructure) in KSA-Medina , High Speed Railway Project
( 5train stations, 4 Work bases, OCC and BOCC buildings) in KSA, Pediatric Hospital
at King Hussein Medical City (KHMC) in Amman (200 beds), Al-Saleh Mosque in
Yemen, the design of Saraya Head Quarters & W-Hotel in Amman (40 storey multi
storey tower), renovation works of the whole Commercial Complex and Le Meridian
Hotel Buildings in Amman, the infrastructure works within Mafraq Development
Area north of Amman, and managing of and supervision on the construction of Dar

Prior to Joining DAR, I was working with Royal Medical Services, in a capacity of Senior
Mechanical Engineer, namely on Hospital related projects which included the
construction of Queen Alia Hospital for Heart Disease, Prince Hussein Hospital,
Queen Rania Centre, Nuclear Medicine, ICU and operating theatre, Princess
Muna College. I have gained considerable experience while with the Royal Medical
Services as since 1991 I have acted in the capacity of Maintenance Mechanical
Engineer for RMC hospitals and in particular KHMC where I became Chief of
Maintenance Department for KHMC .
My duties included: managing and supervising projects’ related technical and
management issues including but not limited to: following up and reviewing
projects’ design issues, tendering analysis, approval of Material and shop drawing
submittals, checking and approval of Materials delivered to site, follow-up on site
installations and ensuring their compliance with project requirements and quality

Project Description: King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals Business
Park Project (KFUPM) aims to develop a mixed use project in approximately 200,000
m2 of its land (herein “Site”) in Dhahran – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The subject of the
subsequent phase would be an approximate area of 610,000 m2 at the south east of
the Site.
The Project includes residential apartments, offices (grade A), Hotel (4 star), serviced
apartments, support retail (apartment and offices) and, support facilities and hospitality
along with the related internal roads, parking . The Project consists of following
Packages
Package 1: KFUPM Business Park (BP) Site Development & Utilities:
This package is related to the execution of the Site Development and Utilities.
Package 2: KFUPM BP Buildings (Part 1): 15 Buildings of high rise buildings of
350,000 sqm built-up area
Package 2 is related to the execution of the first 15 buildings. The design will be
developed and then the related works will be executed (construction of the
buildings).
5. Package 3: KFUPM BP Buildings (Part 2): 15 Buildings of high rise buildings of
300,000 sqm of Built-up Area:
Package 3 is related to the construction of the remaining 15 buildings. This will
be followed by the construction of said buildings by the Contractor to be
awarded the execution contract.

a) PROJECT NAME : Al Haramain High Speed Railway

Cost of Construction : 4,500,000,000 US Dollars.

Project Description: The Haramain High-speed Railway is a major infrastructure
project for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, connecting the cities of Makkah, Madinah,
Jeddah and the developing King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). Altogether, the
large, flexible stations will cover an area more than 30 times the size of London’s
Trafalgar Square and will initially accommodate an anticipated 60 million passengers
each year.
The Haramain High Speed Rail (HHSR) Phase 1 package 2 for Makkah station is a
prestigious project and it defines large number of Civil and Electro Mechanical works
scope. Basically this Station is based on a modular approach and it assumes a high
degree of fabrication.
The Project consist of
1. Five main passenger stations, each consist of
Main Building which comprise of service basement, service tunnels,
platforms, departure & Arrival concourses and basement car park.
All external road & landscaping elements.
All Design & Built Activities for the following items (Mosque, Car park,
Fire station and Helipad).
6. 2. One Operation Control Centre (OCC) building equipped with all
electromechanical and control systems to control and monitor the trains and
all other building activities and information.
3. One Back up Operation Control Centre (BOCC) building which is typical to
OCC equipped with all electromechanical and control systems to control and
monitor the trains and all other building activities and information.
4. Four work bases equipped with all heavy maintenance equipments to
perform the main maintenance tasks for trains.

b). PROJECT NAME : Pediatric Hospital (KHMC)

of six floors, with a total built up area of 30,000m2, 200 beds, equipped with up to

operating theaters, ICUs, CCUs, patients wards, kitchen, laundry, and comprehensive
electromechanical power plants.

(21839)m2, owned by Dar Al- Handasah as Design Office in Jordan, it is equipped with

senior mechanical Engineer, I had been assigned to act as Resident Engineer to
run and manage all the construction and administrative works/activities of this
project.
