The COVID-19 is worldwide spreading. Hope we all will win the war against the virus in the near further. People in different country have some innovative ideas to fight with virus,which inspired us a lot. Some may have an uncertain information and take a wrong protection method. I have experienced this difficult moment at the end of Jan to end Feb. As we China have taking a long time to fight with the virus and now under control and resumed our daily life. 3. Coronavirus Overview
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease
caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Some people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate
respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people,
and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes,
chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.

8. 2-1, Mode of Transmission
Someone coughs, sneezes or talks, will spray small liquid
droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain
virus.
Directly contact with the body secretions of patients;
Indirectly contact with the virus contaminated common
object surface.
Refers to the mixing of the virus with droplets in the air to
form aerosols, which can float for long distances and
cause infection after inhalation.
The virus has been detected in the feces of some
confirmed cases of COVID-19. The infectious are
unknown.

10. 3-1, Identify Infection Source
*At the beginning of Wuhan city, some cases with mild symptoms were quarantined at home, then infect
whole family members, so later China government executed a more comprehensive and strict measures.
1 Early Detection
Track Confirmed cases travel records ,contact tracing, door-to-door testing,
Daily body temperature checking on working place, community, Metro, Airport, etc.
2 Early Reporting
3 Early Isolation
Close contact with confirmed cases and patients with fever that cannot be ruled out
from 2019-nCoV will be imposed collective quarantine at the quarantine centers.
Collective Quarantine for Overseas Arrivals at two weeks.
4 Early Treatment
Confirmed cases to designated hospitals, Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan
Hospital, Mild cases and Suspected to Temporary Treatment Centers.
Recovered patients should stay at home and avoid close contact for 14 days.
Principle: To ensure all suspected and confirmed cases could be received and treated.

11. 3-2-1, Cut off Transmission Route
1 Wear a mask and keep indoor ventilation
The most important and most effective way to prevent from the droplet transmission.
Dispensable medical mask and surgical masks is enough,N95 better for medical staff.
2 Keep social distance
Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is
coughing or sneezing. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including
the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.
3 Do not gathering
Example 1: A couple are infected by COVID-19 but at home isolation in nearly two weeks.
After epidemic travel records tracing, they went out once to have dinner in a restaurant in one
hour, next table is a family who in asymptomatic incubation period and soon later confirmed .
Example 2: A women went out Grocery shopping without wearing a mask, who was infected
by talking with the potential virus carriers at only 15 seconds by monitor video records,
both without wearing a mask at that time.

1 Wash hands frequently
Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with
soap and water，to kills viruses that may be on your hands.
2 Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Maintain Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can
transfer the virus to our eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter our body and can
make our sick.
3 Sterilize the frequent contact points
Such as buttons in the lift, doorknobs, Water Tap, switches on the water dispensers,
Escalator, etc.
Tips: we can contact these public frequent contact points by paper tissue or disposable gloves.

1 When people are exposed to high
concentrations of aerosol in a relatively closed
environment for a long time. It is not the main
transmission route.
2 Medics and researchers in high-risk work
environment should adopt airborne infection
isolation as a precaution. As for the general
public, there is no need to worry. Just keep
rooms well ventilated and maintain a flow of air.
3 Tips:Wear a higher rate face mask such as
N95 and eyeshade to protect eyes when to a
hospital or special places.

body temperature be measured at entering and exiting the residence. Wear
face masks in public spaces, shall not visit each other or dine together. We
stay at home from the end of Jan to end of Feb, some cities till end of Mar.
Lockdown All cities: Business, Industry and transportation were all
closed at around one or two month from end Jan. to end Feb..
Wuhan city will be resumed at the end of this month.

• Secure the mask ,either with ties or by placing elastic earloops around cars.

• In case the front of mask is contaminated. Grasp the ties or elastics of the mask,
carefully removing the mask without touching the front.

17. 4.2-1 Some Tips
• We need to disinfect when there is existing or possible contamination from
pathogenic or harmful microorganisms that could lead to transmission of an
infectious disease.
• Unnecessary Disinfection: It is unnecessary to disinfect such items as tires, shoes,
and packages of express delivery or take-away food or sterilize air in the
corridor or open ground. Unnecessary frequent disinfection at home. Keep your
rooms well ventilated, wash your hands frequently, and maintain good hygiene.

18. 4.2-2 Some Tips
• There is no need to disinfect your hands all the time.
• When should we disinfect our hands?
We should do that after having close contact with patients, when returning to
our workplace or home from outside, or if need to touch food with our hands.
• Usually no need to disinfect our coat after coming home from outside.
Can hang our coat near the door and change into another set of clothes once back home
from outside. No need to disinfect our coat every day. However, do disinfect our coat if
have been to the hospital, visited patients or come into contact with people showing
suspicious symptoms.

19. 4.3 Some Tips
• Alcohol with 75% concentration is suitable for disinfection. Those with 90%
should be diluted according to the instructions before use.
• Wipe doorknobs, tables, and elevator buttons with alcohol. Avoid spraying excessive
alcohol into the air or onto the human body.
• Ensure the ventilation of alcohol-disinfected rooms. Keep alcohol away from high
temperature items, especially an open flame.
• Keep alcohol away from fire or power supplies and in sealed containers. Lidless
containers are strictly prohibited.

20. 4.4 Some Tips
• Ventilate your car as much as possible and stay warm when doing so.
• Masks, hand sanitizers or disinfecting wipes are must-have items in your car.
Disinfect your hands promptly when returning to the vehicle from public places.
• Keep the windows open for fresh air when carrying a patient with suspicious
symptoms. Disinfect door handles, seats, and steering wheels afterwards.
• Sanitize the interior under professional guidance if patients with suspected or
confirmed COVID-19 infection have been on board. Other passengers in the car
should be put in a medical quarantine in accordance with regulations.

21. 4.5 Some Tips
The alcohol does not erode normal clothes. But as a Class I flammable material, the
alcohol is likely to cause a fire once exposed to open flame, high temperature or
static electricity. Spritzing the alcohol onto the clothing increases the risk and
therefore is not recommended.
Can the alcohol be spritzed directly onto the clothing?
People are unlikely to contract the virus via the contaminated clothing. Thus, you
don‘t have to disinfect your clothing unless you have visited patients in the
hospital or had close contacts with people showing suspicious symptoms.

Scientific experiments show that the virus cannot work that way. It enters the body
through mucous membranes in the mouth, nose or eyes. Washing your hands
properly and frequently is an effective way to prevent the transmission of virus.
Can the novel coronavirus enter the body through skin?
In general, neither hair washing nor disinfection is necessary when back home from
outside. Current research has found that the virus is sensitive to UV light and heat.
There is very little chance that infectious droplets with a high concentration of virus
could stick to the hair. So just keep your hair clean as usual.
