This document provides an endorsement to amend coverage limits for products liability arising from the manufacture of aviation products. It increases the sub-limit for products hazards to [BLANK] per occurrence and in the annual aggregate for liability from manufacturing an aviation product. The overall aggregate limit for all endorsements cannot exceed [BLANK]. Manufacturing is defined as work from design to completion, excluding maintenance after delivery to the first customer.
![PRODUCTS ENDORSEMENT FOR AVN 52 CLAUSES
In respect of the coverage afforded in respect of the Products Hazard, the
sub-limit stated in paragraph ............. of Extended Coverage Endorsement
(Aviation Liabilities) ............. shall be amended to ............. any one
Occurrence and ............. in the annual aggregate BUT ONLY in respect of
liability arising from the Manufacture of an Aviation Product by
...................../the Insured.
The overall aggregate limit of liability for all Extended Coverage
Endorsements (Aviation Liabilities) shall not exceed...........
‘Manufacture’ means all work and processes from design to completion of
the manufactured product but excluding all maintenance, repair and
overhaul work and processes no matter where performed once the product
has been delivered to the first customer.

In common with all AICG produced AVN Clauses, this Clause is published by AICG,
but it is expressly non-binding and AICG makes no recommendation as to its use in
particular policies. Insurers are of course free to offer different policy wordings and
clauses to their policy holders.
Notes:
1) The clause reference is blank so that it can apply to a wider range of
AVN52 clauses.
2) This clause would have to be amended if the wording to which it is
endorsed does not refer to the “Products Hazard” and “Aviation Product”.
3) the aggregate limit would reflect the overall policy aggregate limit
negotiated, being either the existing limit plus new limit (cumulative) or the
highest of existing and amended (non-cumulative), it being understood that
the ‘being within policy Limit and not in addition thereto’ of Para [ ] of
