7. Curriculum
5 Year Premedical / MD Program :-
This premedical program which consists of four semesters of focused
premedical coursework is designed for highly motivated students. High school
graduates and students that have not met the requirements for our MD
program could apply for our premedical program.
4 Year MD Program :-
Avalon University School of Medicine’s accelerated medical program is
designed to prepare students to becoming well-rounded practicing physician
in the United States or Canada. Our curriculum is modeled after U.S. medical
schools, and the first 16 months will be focused on gaining the basic science
knowledge in preparation for an exciting experience during the clinical
program years.

8. Curriculum
Clinical Science Program :-
Students that successfully complete the basic sciences will soon after
begin their clinical sciences (clinical rotations). The clinical science
program is designed to give students the ability to learn and practice
their clinical skills in a hospital setting. Avalon students will have the
opportunity to complete the required 72 weeks of clinical rotations at
our affiliated teaching hospitals across the United States.

Aalon University School of Medicine’s clinical
science program is designed for students to
apply their basic science knowledge in a
hospital setting with the supervision of
practicing physicians.
With the hands on training and interaction with
patients, students will build upon their medical
knowledge.
The objectives of the clinical science program is to attain the fundamental clinical skills in
each respective medical specialty, which would include – management and treating
patients, conducting physical examinations, exhibiting proper communication skills, and
practicing medical procedures.

The Student Government Association
(SGA) is a student run organization
that represents the student body and
provides assistance with school
related matters.
The SGA also provides a means of
communication between the
students and faculty, and assists in
academic related initiatives.
A few of the other responsibilities governed by the SGA are organizing tutoring for
students, Health Fairs, Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) lectures, and volunteer work
at the local hospital.
