Roan, a white wolf, and her family were hunting for food in the gloomy woods but could not find any moose. In desperation, they entered the territory of the red wolves, with whom the white wolves had fought brutally in the past. While attempting to steal food from the red wolves, Roan was caught by one of their patrols. A fight broke out between Roan's father and the red wolf, who were brothers but sworn enemies, but they both became injured and decided to end their feud and become friends instead.

2. "Awwww," howled Roan, a white wolf who lived in the gloomy woods with her family. Her family
was very crafty and sneaky. They were hunting for a moose. Roan's family searched far and wide but
still couldn't find a moose, so they went in to red wolf territory. Years ago red wolf and white wolf had a
brutal battle and they haven't been friends since.

3. They went in. "Crick, crack," sticks cracked and crumbled as Roan and her family stomped into red
wolf territory. They were terrified. They heard a creak. They saw a shadow. They were shaking with
fear. They were so terrified they dashed home. They would have to try another time.

4. They went to steal some food from the red wolf tribe. What they didn't know was the red wolf tribe
was on patrol as Roan's family was running through the woods. A red wolf saw Roan. "RUN!" shouted
Roan. Her family dashed. A red wolf grabbed her. "NO!" shouted Roan's dad.

5. Her family dashed to red wolf. Roan's dad said, "PUT MY DAUGHTER DOWN NOW!" They were
brothers but they were sworn enemies. Soon they stared fighting. They both got injured. They decided
to be friends.

6. The new brothers celebrated having so much FUN. For once they were not fighting. They were now
friends.
