Tisha Arora visited the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on her 12th birthday and had a fascinating experience learning about NASA and space exploration. She saw the mobile launch platform and crawler that transport rockets, toured the Apollo 8 launch control room, and had the privilege of interacting with astronaut John-David Bartoe who explained what life is like in space. Tisha found it amazing to learn about the international space station and how many parts must work together successfully to launch a rocket into space. She also learned about the Hubble Space Telescope through an IMAX movie.
