2. Gender
To get some more in depth
research about my audience I
decided to upload a questionnaire
to a witchcraft Facebook group as
they would give me more in depth
answers as they know more about
witchcraft than most people in my
class.
The first question that I asked
was their gender this was so that
I could see the percentage of
males and females who took my
questionnaire, knowing this will
help when it comes to creating my
audience profile. From the
percentages that I can see most
of them are female, this tells me
that there are more female
witches the males ones.

3. Age
The second question that I asked was
what their ages are, I did this
because for my documentary the target
audience is people aged from 16 to 24
year olds, so asking this question
will tell the age percentage of the
people who took my questionnaire it
will also tell me if these witches are
within my target audience, therefore
allowing me to know if they will like
my documentary idea and would like to
see a documentary about witchcraft in
the digital age.

4. What is your religion?
The next question that I asked was what
their religion is, as witchcraft is a
practice not a religion however, there
are religion within witchcraft, these
are: Wiccan and Pagan. Knowing this
knowledge will help me with my
documentary as it can be used as a
topic for it, in terms of that I can
talk about how these religions were
like in the 16th century and how they
are like in 21st century due to the
evolution of technology.

5. What are your interests?
The next question that I asked was
what are their interests. I asked
this because I wanted to know what
sort of thing they liked to do
during their free time, this was
so I have more options for the
topic of my documentary in case I
decided to change the topic of my
documentary.

6. Do you watch documentaries?
With this question I asked if
they watched documentaries, I
did this because I wanted to
know how many of the people who
filled out my questionnaire
watch documentary, and the
results I got were that 60.5% of
the people do watch
documentaries. Knowing this will
allow my to know if were to post
my documentary in the witchcraft
group that some of the people
who be tempted to watch my
documentary.

7. Why do you like documentaries, if not
why?
The next question that I asked
was why they liked
documentaries and most of them
said to learn new things. I
asked this questions because I
wanted to know why they watch
documentaries, this was
because I needed to know what
made them watch documentaries
and nk=ow I know it is to
learn new things, which makes
me understand that I need to
make my documentary
informative with new
information that they might
not know.

8. Would you watch a documentary about how social
media/the internet has influenced witchcraft?
For this question I asked if
they would watch a documentary
about how social media/the
internet has influenced
witchcraft and the results
that I received were good as
76.2% of the people said yes.
This allows me to know that
some people would watch my
documentary especially people
in this facebook witchcraft
group.

9. How do you think social media/internet
has affected witchcraft?
I asked this question because I
wanted to find out how people
think social media/the internet
has affected witchcraft. From the
results that I received I can
understand that social media and
the internet has affected
witchcraft positively and
negatively as it has made it more
accepted but also has a lot of
misinformation about witchcraft
out there. Knowing this
information I can knowly talk
about how social media and the
internet has affected witchcraft.

10. Do you think that social media/internet has
affected witchcraft positively or negatively?
To get even more information
about how social media and
the internet has affected
witchcraft I asked the
question on if they think
social media/the internet
has affected witchcraft
positively or negatively and
a lot of people said
positively which links back
to the previous questions.

11. What would you like to see in this
documentary? The last question I asked was
what they would like to see in
my documentary, this allows my
to have many different options
for the topic of my documentary.
With this knowledge I decided
that I was going to do my
documentary on a piece of
witchcraft history which will be
the Pendle witch trials as you
do really here about these
trials as much as you would with
Mother Shipton, and then talk
about how the evolution of
technology has made witchcraft
different today to the time of
the Pendle witch trials
