2. Today we were given our final audience
feedback, this will be the final one we will be
able to act upon before our deadline, and so it
was important that people criticised wherever
possible.
3. Fade in sounds
We have a layered sound of the younger boy
playing, whilst making ‘Brum’ car noises, part of
our audience feedback was to try and fade these
noises in and out, which as a group we agree
with because they start and end very abruptly
which we’d never noticed until it had been
pointed out by an audience member.
4. ‘Wrong sounds right places’
Some of our previous audience feedback was to
add in extra sounds, we did this, yet we got a
suggestion to change where we’d put some of
these sounds. By changing them to the places
our audience suggested we are further
highlighting the contrasts between two opposite
emotions.
5. ‘Presenting…’
In our previous audience feedback, we stated that
we would ask a bigger audience on whether to
keep or delete the ‘Presenting…’ title, asking this
question, the majority of audience members said
delete it, and so it has been deleted.
6. Cutting a scene down
Our opening sequence features a movement of the
younger boy climbing up a piece of equipment on
a park, and our audience suggested this part be cut
down a little as they felt it was dragging and got
boring. We have made this change and it is now
shorter and looks better.
7. Overall…
Looking over all 3 audience feedback sessions
we have had, I have been pleased each time, all
parts of feedback have been helpful to us and
haven’t been too drastic to complete.
