2. Length Of Title Cards
On our first draft, it was brought up that a few of the title
cards felt to long and this created a lack of ‘flow’ in the
video. To address this we have came to a solution of
adding an effect that will create a zoom on the text, which
keeps it less static and makes it regain its flow. It also has
the added benefit of creating a pop effect when it goes to
the blurred glass block prism section.

3. “Why does he have a gun?”
It was brought up in our feedback that why does one of
our characters place a gun in his waist band when the
others only place phones etc. The opening was designed
around introducing characters and leaving things open
and ambiguous to be later explained in the movie: The
enigma code. Unfortunately, the fact this wasn’t worked
out by a normal audience maybe begs the question did
we make our characters clear enough? The other two
characters were picked out easily, but our ‘psycho’ was
missed and just seen as the ‘normal’ character.

4. Characterisation
As brought up, the ‘psycho’ character played by Jonathan has
been misinterpreted as just being the normal one of the three.
We expected the shot of him with the gun and his lack of
emotion and his preparedness to show him as obviously being
something other than normal but to an extent this creates a
good dynamic for us. The fact that he seems like the normal
one, even though we need him to be the one who most wants
to do the heists etc. is a good feature as it will hide his
character for longer. The opening was not meant to ever fully
explain characters, just set up for their arcs that will develop
through the movie.

5. Splitscreen and Editing
On a positive note, the splitscreen was the most
overwhelming success we could of hoped for with many
people enjoying the style that was created by it and along
with the editing style of the fake jumpiness we created,
the overall style and theme of the editing was seen as a
positive that was enjoyed by the audience.

6. ‘The Sun Shot’
The opening shot of the sun panning over and jumping
has received feedback in both a positive and negative
way. On one hand people have said the jumps of the shot,
which mirror the theme of the editing throughout, is a very
cool trick to set the time and setting of the opening. The
criticism leveled against it comes from it being ‘too jumpy’
and not flowing. However when mixed with the music and
jumping it with the jumps in the music, it creates a cool
effect which we like.
