1) The Gumusut Kakap semi-FPS is located off the coast of Sabah, Malaysia at a depth of around 1,200 meters. It began production in 2014.
2) The platform contributes up to 25% of Malaysia's oil production, with a peak annual production of 135,000 barrels per day from 19 subsea wells connected to the platform.
3) The project involved engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning of the semi-submersible floating production system along with subsea infrastructure including wells, pipelines, and a manifold system.
