2. Aster Turismo de Experiência is a Travel Agency based on the
"tourism of experience" concept. We intend to launch Aster
on January 2012 and being that so we are organizing the first group
tours - The Beta Groups - that will co-create and test our first
programs with us. In order to make these groups a reality we are
raising funds through Catarse, a crowdfunding platform.
We would love to count on your support promoting our idea and also
as our investor. =) We have carefully gone through the rewards that
are being offered to the investors, and the coolest thing is that by
investing R$ 100,00 or more you are automatically rewarded a special
participation in one of the Beta Groups. Obviously you can also invest
less money, you will still be rewarded amazing and unique presents.
In the next pages you will find a short FAQ, which will explain the
details of our initiative.

1. What is Aster Turismo de Experiência?
Aster is a Socio-Cultural Travel Agency based on the "tourism of
experience" concept and it's about to open doors. We want to
transform trips into innovative and meaningful experiences for both
the tourist and it's destination, offering socially responsible touristic
programs involving intense contact with the local reality, facilitation,
volunteering and, of course, tourism!
2. What are the Beta Groups?
We will launch Aster formally in 2012 and in order to do so properly
we need to test our programs and enhance our operational delivery.
The Beta Groups will be our first groups, which will participate in the

4. What does crowdfunding mean and what is Catarse?
Crowdfunding means that a project, idea or initiative will raise funds
through the support of many

Catarse is the first crowdfunding platform for creative projects in
Brazil! It's a platform that makes many projects throughout the
country come true, by raising support from those who believe in

our participation at Catarse because we were one of the 20 finalists
at the Festival de Ideias event (FdI) ("Ideas Festival")

5. How does it work?
Crowdfunding works in a simple way: you upload your project on a
crowdfunding platform like Catarse in order to raise enough funds to
make it come true. The rule is simple: either you raise all the money
you need or you get nothing. If the total amount is not raised, all the
investors get their money back and the project doesn't come true.
There's a time limit for the financing (our deadline is November 21st
2011) and rewards are offered for the investors, according to the
amount invested (in Brazilian Reais - BRL).

6. What was Festival de Ideais (FdI - Ideas Festival)?
Design to promote creative solutions for social development,
innovation and entrepreneurship, FdI is a network of collaboration
and information exchange for entrepreneurs, investors and
general public.
Taking part at FdI as one of the 20 finalists was our fist big step.
There we've done a lot of networking, got to know potential
partners and improved our idea with feedbacks and co-creation,
as well as received the amount of R$ 2.000,00, which will be
invested on us through Catarse for the Beta Groups project.
