4. Question are based on Course Outcome 2 (CO-2)
Q.1. A 8 m long horizontal beam hinged at its ends carries a downward uniformly distributed load of
10kN/m on the left half and an upward distributed load of 20kN/m on the right half length of the
beam as shown below. Draw SFD & BMD.

Q.3 Determine the reactions at supports of the beam shown in the figure below. Draw shear force and bending
